About

Hello, thank you for visiting!
Born in Michigan in 1963, I began playing guitar at age 8, performed live at age 9, and wrote my first song at age 11. I served the Navy from 1981 to 1991, and played music all over the world.
In 1992 I formed The High Country Band, and later that year we opened a show with the legendary, Johnny Paycheck.
In 1996, my wife Lisa and I moved to Nashville, Tn. I met a producer from Big Wampum Records, Jeff DeBusk, and began singing demos for him and legendary writer Ted Harris (Chrystal Chandelier).
I then started recording my own album (The Just Can't Help Its), featuring "Marie Laveau", which was an honor to cut with Bobby Bare's blessing! The album was cut utilizing some of the best session players in Nashville, including a guitar player from Loretta Lynn's band, Mr. Bobby Vogel.
Also, a funny thing happened unexpectedly while recording my album. I was working part time for a limo service and was offered a tribute role as Neil Diamond for the Las Vegas Legends, when I picked them up at the airport! They actually auditioned me on the ride to the hotel! That was very cool, but I had to turn down the offer as I was still recording my own album at the time.
In 1999, some of the players on my album and I were scheduled to go on tour with Travis Tritt as his opening act for a casino tour. Well, Charlie Daniels' actually ended up with the tour...I was bummed and thrilled at the same time! Lol, thus is the nature of the business...however this experience did inspired me to write another song!
I then continued driving truck by day, singing demos at night, then was excited to have Eddy Arnold listen to my demo tape, and I learned that he got very emotional, even cried, over one of my songs called "Daddy's Love", (a song which depicts a father's love for his children, when they have been separated by divorce, and long distance).
Mr. Arnold introduced me to his freind, legendary opry musician, and producer Mr. Jim Lance. I actually only hung out with Jim for just a few weeks. Tragically, a sickness in the family shortened our stay in Nashville, and we returned to had to return to Michigan.
With my album not quite complete, I decided to finish my truck driving career.
In 2022, I was injured in two separate incidents, crippling my left hand, forearm and shoulder leaving me unable to play a guitar. My other accident collapsed my left lung, leaving me unable to sing. These events were only one month apart, but led me to into depression. For not being able to work, or play my music for two whole years, was almost unbearable. However, one day I picked up the guitar and began re-training my fingers and muscles to finally get through one song, then another, and eventually to where I am today! Now after four years, I am grateful to be doing well enough to get out there once more, with a spirit I haven't had in over 20 years!
From my own home studio, I've produced and released 31 songs, streaming world wide. Now having over 500 regular followers, and 300+ users on TikTok who have created their own videos using my music. That's quite humbling, and quite an honor!
My rendition of Marie Laveau is climbing past 70 users on TikTok. This song, as well as Daddy's Love can be found on Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube and most other outlets.
2027 begins a new era for my musical journey. We're kicking off the Marie Laveau Tour which I invite you to be part of my musical resurgence!
I have two shows to offer,
#1, a hybrid show 2-4 hours in length, where I perform my songs, top cover songs from country, pop, easy rock, and folk, and tribute songs to Neil Diamond!
Show #2 An explosive Neil Diamond Tribute, 2hrs in length, with a 15 minute intermission.
This experience is growing on me, for I've been inspired by Neil Diamond since I first saw hi movie The Jazz Singer. With my baritone voice being very similar to his voice, it became natural for me to slip into a role, being Neil Diamond is awsome! I don't actually try to imitate completely, however with the lights, and vibrant clothing, I hope you get the feel of being there, front row with Neil Diamond's music!
Using licensed backing tracks, my guitars, and vocals, I bring to your audience an upbeat, professional quality experience, built on 50 years of entertaining! I also have plenty of merchandise for the fans... tees, CDs, photos, koozies and more!
I have played venues, small and large, fairs, festivals, and amphitheaters as well. My equipment should be large enough for 50 to 150 in your audience. Thank you much, I look forward to entertaining your venue!
I do have one goal, or mission: that is to inspire those who are struggling with depression, or lack of belonging, who have given up on their dreams.

#strength
#never quit
#follow your dreams
#you are loved
