Sometimes you want a traditional ballad, sometimes you just need to dance. River Driver scratches both of those itches and everything in between. Playing an eclectic mix of traditional Irish Fiddle tunes, pub songs, country, and classic rock- all with screaming fiddle solos. Get ready to clap and sing with your friends at the local pub!
Aidan Flanagan has been playing classical violin and Irish fiddle since he was 9 years old. His quick licks are accompanied by Michael Logan's dynamic acoustic guitar playing and Danny Rasailly's masterful percussion. Follow us on social media for instant updates to our tour and music!
River Driver has performed twice so far at city and/or fire department events in which I am associated. I look forward to future events that we might be able to have them perform again! They have a great stage presence and can really get the audience into their performances. The classic rock solos on the fiddle (yeah, you read that right) are amazing and a lot of fun. The fiddler really gets into his performance and the cheers from the audience were an indication that they were really enjoying it. The guitarist/lead singer has a way with his guitar that sounds amazing and he was a lot of fun to watch as he interacted with the audience. I look forward to being able to work with them again as they are all very friendly and down-to-earth guys.

We had such a blast playing Sherman Celtic festival and we are grateful for the invite! We hope to be rocking your stage again soon! Sláinte!
I hired River Driver to perform at an event I hosted. They were the consummate professionals, very flexible and easy to work with.
They arrived early, had all their sound gear ready to go and were set up quickly . They then played a really fun, high energy set that was a mix of Celtic songs with some country and blue grass classics thrown in for fun. Michael is their lead singer and he was hugely entertaining. Aidan just tore up the fiddle and stole the show. Their drummer is hugely talented and provided a fantastic driving rhythm that gave so much energy to the performance. Highly recommended

Expect fast-paced, energetic acoustic rock driven by fiddle solos. You'll hear some songs you know, and many you've never heard before. But all of them will keep your toe tapping, and beer flowing as the audience dances, claps, and sings along.
We can also do an acoustic duet without a drummer. It will not be as loud, but will be just as energetic.
Aidan Flanagan has been performing violin and fiddle since he was seven. He was simultaneously classically trained and playing in Celtic bands throughout his childhood. He has played in many arrangements of classical, classic rock and Celtic bands throughout his youth. He had a brief stint in the Red Dirt country band Don Stalling and the Divided with Michael. He got a scholarship to play in the Baylor Symphony Orchestra and study music at Baylor University and has since lived in Waco.
Michael started playing bluegrass with a family band, and in high school joined some local rock groups. Playing drums, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bass, harmonica, and more, he has since has played in several rock, country, and bluegrass bands including Sante Fe Line, Neverblu, and Ghillie Brogue. He is a co-founder of the red dirt country band Don Stalling and the Divided. After stepping away from Don Stalling and the Divided when COVID put all the gigs to a standstill, he met back up with his old fiddle player Aidan and started doing an eclectic mix of traditional folk, classic rock, country, and Irish music in the band River Driver.
Danny Rasailly immigrated to the US from Nepal to study music/percussion at Berkeley. He drummed in the powerhouse Celtic Rock band Cleghorn for several years before joining up with River Driver. His unique and driving drumming is as exciting as it is inventive.
We can provide a sound system if needed. We are very flexible about the space, PA, and set times.
