Rickey Rainbow, born a native of Chicago, IL. Grew up emulating the sounds of the late great Michael Jackson and the American Motown sound . At the age of 9 he picked up the guitar and studied vigorously learning all the licks of Jimmi Hendricks, Carlos Santana and guitar greats. His talent caught on faster than he ever thought . By the age of 14 he was on stage and touring and playing in front of crowds of thousands. As he fine tuned his skills he received a call from New York asking him to come over and write with some big players in the music industry. Rickey moved and lived in NY for several years where he met and worked with many current stars. After a few years, Rickey moved back to Chicago to start his own writing and recording company (C.Rain Productions). But Rickey wasn't here for long. He got the call to come to London England to be a staff producer and writer for several major labels. Rickey currently writes and performs around the country with his band Over The Top.
