It was a classic beginning for me....
Boy gets out pots and pans and wood spoons and creates a drum kit on the kitchen floor at 6 years old. Cool mom recognizes what's going on and buys boy a drum kit for Christmas…the world suddenly opens up and everything changes.

The world opened even further for me, listening to bands like Iron Butterfly and Led Zeppelin. The more I listened to music, the more I became attuned to a whole new level of musicality that my friends didn't seem to understand. Even at 13 years old I was jamming with my best friend, writing solely guitar/drum songs, similar to what popular bands like The Black Keys and The White Stripes have done in the past few years. Fast forward to 2014 and my experience includes but is not limited to:
