We hired Richard for my son’s 4th birthday party, and he was absolutely fantastic! Despite having to reschedule on short notice, he was incredibly flexible and accommodating, which made the whole process stress-free.
His performance was engaging, entertaining, and perfectly tailored to the kids, but what really impressed us was how much the adults enjoyed the show as well! He kept everyone laughing and amazed with his tricks and balloon creations. Richard's energy and enthusiasm kept the kids captivated the entire time, and my son couldn’t stop talking about it afterward.

About
Richard's Balloons, Magicians, Yard Art and More! provides any or all of these entertainment services: balloon animals/objects, face painting, glitter tattoos, illusions, magic shows, balloon decor, juggling, yard greetings, face painting and live characters. We can even provide bounce houses, storytellers, caricature artists and many other fun entertainment to bring life to any party or event.
Additional booking notes
The balloon artist and magician will be self contained, meaning no special lighting or equipment is needed. A table and chair is helpful.
Outdoor balloon decor is subject to weather conditions. Wind and heat are the two main issues when setting up outdoor arches and columns. We can setup outdoor balloon decor in most weather conditions, but the structures are not guaranteed when weather is an issue. Indoor balloon decor, such as arches, columns, centerpieces and balloon characters are not affected by weather. The only issue is having enough space to setup and display the balloons.
Face painting is best done indoors where temperature and humidity can be controlled. However, outdoor events can be accommodated. Face painting requires a table and lighting. If this is not available, the face painter will provide their own.
Glitter tattoos can be done indoors or outdoors. The glitter image is usually placed on the arm and will last up to one week. It is so durable that the person can jump in the swimming pool 5 minutes after the glitter image is applied. It generally will stay on in the shower as long as it is not rubbed too much.
Yard art (greetings) require an open lawn or other grassy area that is large enough to accommodate the letters. An area of 25' by 20' is usually sufficient. Yard greetings will be setup after dark the night before the event and taken down after dark the night of the event. For longer periods of time, just ask us (additional smaller fee for longer durations).

Influences and inspiration
We regularly perform in restaurants and private parties/events, using balloons to create giraffes, monkeys, owls, penguins, turtle bracelets, flower corsages and other cute items. Balloon training has been influenced by artists ranging from fairly new in the business to over 20 years experience, both at the local and national level. Face Painters range from 2 years to over 20 years experience working with other balloon artists to perfect their craft.
We bring in other skilled artists who are very well versed in storytelling, live characters children see on TV, glitter tattoos and caricature artists. Bounce houses round out the mix and provide more fun for kids at birthdays and other parties.
We also offer yard art, sometimes called yard greetings or yard cards. After you select a greeting or saying, our team brings the 18" to 24" letters and graphics after dark to your location. That way, the greeting is ready to go first thing the next morning.
Our newest addition is glitter tattoos. There are dozens of designs to choose from and the different colors available are beautiful. The stencil is usually placed on the arm and will last up to one week.
Our team of entertainers and "event engineers" have many years of experience and strive to enhance your party or event to the fullest. We love seeing the smiles at parties and the additional new business driven to corporate locations as a result of our efforts.
