Overview

Richard is a razor sharp one-liner comedian with a golden smile. His seven years in the business has put him in front of a vast array of crowds in all 50 states.

From comedy clubs to music festivals, elementary schools to retirement homes, weddings to correctional facilities — his arsenal of over 1,000 one-liners adapts to any crowd big or small.

His carefully crafted jokes and creative crowd work won him a national stand-up comedy contest for Laffy Taffy in 2018 and made him a finalist in the 2026 Washington's Funniest Mammal competition.

Whether you're hosting a squeaky-clean corporate event or a rough-and-rowdy bachelor party, Richard can bring the laughs you're looking for.

What to expect

I am a one-liner stand up comedian.

My act, for the most part, contains short set up and punchline jokes.

From time to time I will interact with the crowd, depending on the situation. The majority of the time I work clean, but I have a very wide range of material, and can adapt to crowds of any size, sex, age, socio-economic standing, or political affiliation.

I can do as little as 5 minutes or as many as 90, but I'm most comfortable in the 20 to 45 minute range.

About

I was born in South Carolina, but grew up mostly in Alaska and Vermont. I started pursuing comedy in Burlington Vermont in 2014.

In addition to telling jokes, I've been a skateboarding for 18 years, and I travel the country designing and building skateboard parks and ramps.

I'm also street performer, and dabble in poetry and hip hop.

Additional booking notes

I have an amplifier that can accommodate crowds of 50 people or fewer. If you expect more than that please be prepared with your own audio equipment.
