My style is mixed… its not easily put into a container or labeled journalist, editorial, traditional, portrait, or any other name… Is it journalistic or editorial? Yes it is. Is is traditional or portrait? Yes it is. My approach is to go with the flow of your day, to capture it as it unfolds. I am happy to offer assistance when needed yet not stage everything. I love capturing all the special moments of weddings and all the little details and heart felt emotions. I mingle with the guests to get some wonderful candid shots as well.

My approach is to go with the flow and see what inspires me from your smile to your dress to your location and everything in between. My favorite is to capture the love between you and your partner in an intimate and candid moment with out being obtrusive. It shows in the hands and finger tips, the eyes and your gaze, and the honest expressions of emotion on your face. I want you to be able to look back on your wedding album and see that love and genuine feelings for each other 5 years, 10 years, 20 years down the road; to share with your children and grand children. Rich was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. He attended University of California at Santa Cruz for his Bachelors in Art and Photography. From there he worked at a local camera store expanding his knowledge of photography. A ten year jaunt to Boston for a change of scenery came next along with wonderful photography opportunities. Late in 2013 Rich moved back to the Bay Area to be closer to family as his parents got older and his brother had gotten married. In October of 2015 Rich is getting married and starting a family as well in Martinez, CA.
