About
Ricardo Brito is a seasoned pianist and keyboardist with over 25 years of professional experience performing across Brazil, Argentina, the U.S., and beyond. His musical journey began in 2000, performing at weddings, private parties, and dance events with bands, trios, and ensembles.
In 2004, he began formal studies in classical piano at the Federal University of Paraíba, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Music in 2008. During this time, he also studied composition and orchestration, writing an original symphony performed by the Paraíba Youth Symphony Orchestra.
From 2008 to 2009, Brito performed as a pianist on international cruises with Pullmantur, where he played jazz, Brazilian music, and international repertoire in various restaurants and concert settings. For over a decade, he was also part of the Children’s Choir of Paraíba, contributing as pianist and educator.

Known for his versatility, Brito specializes in Brazilian genres like bossa nova, samba, MPB, forró, and choro, while also offering a rich international repertoire including jazz, pop, Argentine tangos, Italian and French classics, and beloved Latin boleros popularized by artists like Luis Miguel.

Technical Requirements (General Information)
Every event is unique, and the technical needs may vary depending on the performance format — whether it's solo piano, keyboard setup, duo with a singer, small ensemble, or full band.
Because of this, technical requirements such as sound system, lighting, staging, and equipment setup will be discussed and adjusted based on the specific needs of your event.
I’m very flexible and can adapt to different environments: private homes, corporate events, weddings, outdoor venues, restaurants, or stage settings.
Before the event, we will review the necessary details together to ensure everything is aligned — including space needed, power outlets, sound equipment, and setup time.
If you have any questions or special requests, I’ll be happy to coordinate and tailor the technical setup to create the best musical experience for your event.

Influences and inspiration
My musical journey has been shaped by a diverse spectrum of influences, ranging from classical composers to jazz legends, pop icons, and masters of Brazilian music.
In Brazilian music, I’m deeply inspired by the sophistication of Tom Jobim and João Gilberto, the poetry of Chico Buarque and Caetano Veloso, the harmonic richness of Ivan Lins, and the rhythmic roots of Luiz Gonzaga and Dominguinhos. These artists shaped my foundation in bossa nova, MPB, forró, samba, and choro.
Internationally, I’ve been moved by the soul and songwriting of Elton John, Billy Joel, A-ha, the Bee Gees, George Benson, Earth, Wind & Fire, Chicago, Peter Cetera, Phil Collins, and Michael Jackson — artists whose music defined generations and continues to inspire.
I also stay connected to today’s music scene, drawing inspiration from contemporary artists like Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, and Michael Bublé. Their melodies, grooves, and modern sensibilities allow me to create fresh, relevant performances for today’s audiences.
As a jazz pianist, I’m deeply influenced by the improvisational mastery of Chick Corea, Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, and Oscar Peterson. And my classical roots—shaped by Debussy, Chopin, Beethoven, and Bach—inform the depth and elegance of my playing.
Altogether, these influences have helped me develop a rich, flexible style that allows me to connect with any audience — blending classical elegance, jazz expression, Brazilian rhythm, and global pop energy in every performance.
