And we have the repertoire with the most musically diverse styles; Renaissance through Beethoven, and onto Jimi Hendrix, Coldplay etc. We also have your Pop and Broadway favorites! I am a professional music arranger. Each client receives a FREE song/piece of your choice arranged to be played by the ensemble you hire at your wedding! AND, we play for you IN PERSON(your own mini-concert) BEFORE THE WEDDING to help you select your music. We go the extra mile for you. WE ADD A TOUCH OF ELEGANCE!
One important item we wanted for our cabin wedding was a trio to play our first dance and play during our wedding. Our wedding planner recommended Ribbons and Strings Ensembles and I can say without a doubt they were such a joy to work with over the past few months. They set the tone for our wedding and it was nothing short of elegant and romantic. They also learned to play our first dance song at the last minute and it was amazing. Thank you Deb and your staff for making our wedding a memorable one.
The music sounded wonderful at my wedding! It was so elegant and the sound carried wonderfully. The quartet was on-time and professional. I would definitely recommend using this quartet for your wedding ceremony! The online booking is a nice process, just be sure to keep track of what you owe and what you paid. The "Gigmaster" website wasn't updated reflecting changes in pricing and payments made. Deb was quick to fix this however and it all worked out well.
We had Ribbons and Strings play music for our wedding ceremony. They played beautifully at our wedding and were reliable. They have a large repertoire of music to choose from and offer listening sessions to help you select your music.
I hired Ribbons and Strings to perform music for my niece's outdoor wedding in August 2012. All aspects of the planning, music selection, communication, and performance were first rate. Honestly, one of the best parts of the whole experience was being able for me and my niece (the bride) to listen to excerpts from their repertoire in order to choose appropriate music for the type of ceremony and mood my 25-year old niece was trying to achieve. In addition, Deb and the quartet arranged their own version of a piece from a movie the bride/groom really liked, and the custom arrangement was really special. Unfortunately, I was too busy during the pre- and post- ceremony to fully appreciate the performance, but based on the comments from guests and other family members, I know it was very well received. The music during the ceremony itself was expertly performed and very appropriately voiced for the outdoor venue. All in all, a wonderful day made even better by the performance from Ribbons and Strings string quartet.
We hired the Ribbons & Strings Quartet to perform at our wedding ceremony. For logistics, the group worked mainly with the venue coordinator, so we didn't have to worry about that side of things. I am a big music lover - including classical music - but it is not my forte. So we chose them based largely on their good online reviews. They have a large repertoire (including a lot of popular songs) and were accommodating on the selection of music. We chose some and also allowed them to choose others to fill in time. Unfortunately, I didn't get to hear most of what they played - we were busy getting wedding photographs, and the ceremony itself was a blur. However, a couple of friends who were in attendance are both classical music fans and musicians themselves. I asked for their opinions afterwards, and they both said the quartet sounded great! This was our only experience hiring musicians, so other groups may work out just as well, but we were quite happy with the Ribbons & Strings Quartet. I gave them a 4 for "Priced Fairly" simply because I don't have much knowledge/experience to judge. They seemed to be priced competitively with the one other group that we considered.
Ribbons and Strings was overwhelmingly supportive of the musical selections we suggested. We needed a special song for the bridal processional because it had been one played at the bride's grandparents' wedding. Deb Corisis, Ribbons and Stings manager, quickly located the song and arranged it for the string quartet. This quartet went the extra mile to ensure our ceremony was both beautiful and meaningful.
Classic and romantic music is always the type of music for my wedding since I was a little girl. Ribbons and Strings Ensembles is an affordable and nice band that really matches what I have been dreamed for for my wedding. The performance at my wedding day was elegant, well prepared and smooth. I would like to recommend them to all of you here.
400+ graduates, 4000+ guests, VIPs and staff. No rehearsal, no script-- just fabulous music. On time, in tune and ready to go. We cannot thank Deb and the trio enough for sharing their knowledge, professionalism and music with our graduates. It made the event memorable.
The Ribbons & Strings Quartet played waltz and other dance music for a formal waltz ball. The music was lovely, the songs well-chosen, and the dancers all had a wonderful time.
Response from Ribbons & Strings Ensembles:
The Ribbons and Strings Quartet had a fabulous time also!
Hired the string quartet to perform live waltz, tango, and some swing music at our waltz ball. The music and performance was lively and perfectly matched what we wanted from the event. They were pricey, though.
Response from Ribbons & Strings Ensembles:
"The music and performance was lively and perfectly matched what we wanted from the event." Yes we do charge a bit more than some of the other ensembles out there, but very few ensembles can say that we were "perfectly matched what we wanted from the event." I very much doubt that any other string quartet in this entire region has the ballroom dance music repertoire that we have and that enabled us to perform for this fabulous event. The guests danced for the entire evening to our music. We loved it.
My family and I attended a listening session about 3 weeks before my wedding. Roughly a minute into listening to the quartet, we knew we made the right decision! They were practicing, but we were listening to beautiful music all night. Our guests said they sang along to the prelude music we chose. Overall, a great group of musicians!
Ribbons and Strings music was breath taking. All very professional and never missed a note!! We highly recommend them to play at any venue!!
Very professional, well trained musicians with large repertoire of music.
Played for our daughter's outdoor wedding ceremony and inside cocktail hour reception at Tapestry House. We received many compliments from our guests who were delighted by the lovely music.
We had the String Duo (violin, cello) for our catholic wedding ceremony. They were on-time, performed well and were an all around success.
We requested general classical music along with some Beatles songs which all sounded great. Would definitely work with them again.
The String Trio was the perfect combination for our outdoor garden wedding, they provided wonderful background music.
The String Trio is great. They composed two special songs for our wedding, and were a delight to work with. Everyone is very professional, and their music is amazing. They truly added to a great experience. I'd hire them again in a second.
We hired the Ribbons & Strings String Trio for my daughter's outdoor mountain wedding and we could not have been happier. We received so many compliments on the music. They were so professional and did excactly what they promised. Could not be happier!
I would recommend Ribbons & Strings Ensembles to anyone for any event. They are very professional, play out standing music, and look as wonderful as they sound! They have an amazing list of music for any event from weddings, to Halloweens parties, the sky is the limit. They play the most beautiful classical music as well as the most amazing renditions of contemporary music. I doubt there is a song they can't play and that won't sound beautiful. They preformed at my wedding and really made the day!
We had the Razumovski String Quartet of the Ribbons and Strings Ensembles play at my daughter's wedding. They played for the wedding ceremony held at an outdoor garden area at the venue. Deb was so lovely to deal with. I felt she had so much experience with playing at weddings that she knew exactly what we needed for the prelude, processional, and recessional, plus the music during the ceremony. They have such an extensive repertoire, and she knows so many pieces that everything we even mentioned she was able to play for us at our choosing. Their web site is very helpful to assist us with making our decisions of music. You can listen to selections of the music at a touch, which is great for us since we are not familiar with names of music. We were able to hear the pieces and decide if we liked them or not. When we talked with Deb, she additionally was able to recommend pieces that were perfect for us, which coincided with our family cultural background of having a Hungarian descent. They are not only lovely to work with in selecting the pieces, but their performance was very excellent, at the highest level of ability, and they were professional in every way. They made the wedding setting so perfect to have the lovely string quartet playing in this setting and setting the tone with very soothing and beautiful music. I highly recommend their services.
Ribbons and Strings Trio (violin, viola, and cello) were excellent!!! Deb Corisis, was a wonderful person with which to work and she made it possible for all the music we wished, to be played at my daughter's wedding at Dunafon Castle, near Denver,CO.
I talked and emailed Deb several times and she was always prompt and accommodating in her responses.
Many of our guests commented on the beautiful music which added so much to the specialness of the ceremony.
The Trio invited the future bride and groom to a pre-wedding listening session at which time the classical music could be heard, discussed, and chosen. The gesture was much appreciated.
I would definitely recommend Ribbons and Strings to those wishing to have lovely music for a special occasion!
A very nice assortment was played! Thank you!
Ribbons and Strings played for our ceremony at Sapphire Point. Asked them to play all non-typical wedding music and they delivered. My husband and I were really happy with their music and adaptability to play on a windy mountain lookout and play our unique selections for wedding ceremony songs. Provided a 10x10 covered awning for them and they were able to play in a confined space. Overall, well done!! Our wedding was perfect thanks to Ribbons and Strings! - C&R
We truly want to thank the RAZUMOVSKY STRING QUARTET for being a part of our special day. Deb Corisis was extremely flexible and patient with us leading up to the event and the ensemble did a fantastic job at the wedding! We TRULY appreciate Deb and the RAZUMOVSKY STRING QUARTET for their time and hard work to make this occasion special. The ensemble was very professional and they did a beautiful job. We would highly recommend them for future events. Thank you!
I'd have to say that you guys were very professional and did a fabulous job. We were pleased that you were able to learn or requested song on such short notice and did it beautifully. The reception music was great and everybody at our wedding was very happy with the performance and the fun music played. Thank you so much for adding that extra touch to such a perfect day.
Ribbons and Strings did an amazing job, They were very easy to work with from start to finish and added so much to our event. I would hire them again.
Ribbons and Strings are amazing!!! They did a perfect job and made my wedding wonderful! If I ever have another event where I will need a quartet, I won't think twice about hiring Ribbons and Strings.
The Razumovsky Quartet was a delight! We searched through many options before hiring them to play our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour music. The quartet was willing to go far and beyond their competition to accommodate our song selections. Being an out of town bride, Deb adjusted her schedule to meet with us when we visited Boulder a few months before our date. Our only regret is we wish they could have played longer!
The Debonair Duo from Ribbons & Strings Ensembles were simply fantastic. They were very professional, easy to work with, the music was beautiful, and the ribbons on their instruments matched our wedding colors perfectly. Our pastor announced the wrong hymn, and the performers didn't even skip a beat. They played the hymn he announced, and no one knew any difference. We would highly recommend them.
The Razumovsky String Quartet from Ribbons & Strings Ensembles added a wonderful touch to our outdoor wedding ceremony. They were very accommodating to our requests and offered an endless selection of music. The quartet arrived in plenty of time to set up and play background music as our guests arrived. They played a very well paced and appropriate set for the wedding procession. During the ceremony, we had also requested that they play a couple of short interludes. As the ceremony completed, the quartet played the recessional music on cue, providing a perfect close to the ceremony. We and all of our guests were more than pleased by their performance.
As the bride, I sadly didn't hear much of the music (too busy staring at my new husband!) but my guests said it was lovely, and working with Deb was great. She was very responsive, and everything went smoothly!
Ribbons & Strings Ensembles (Duo-violinist & celloist) played at an outside wedding for my daughter. We couldn't have been more pleased with
all involved from the booking to the final playing at the wedding. They
definitely went the "extra mile", by obtaining the music my daughter wanted, which meant getting it from France and rearranging it for the duo.
I definitely would recommend them.
What a powerful trio! They brought tears to our eyes, and made us feel like movie stars. I would hire them for ANY celebration, funeral, dinner party, bbq..... When I look back at my wedding, I will always be able to hear their music vividly:)
My main contact was with Deb Corisis, she was very prompt and professional in all e-mail responses. They arrived at the time specified and were dressed professionally. The music was absolutely beautiful. We had a combination of the viola/violin, flute and piano. I would not hesitate to hire them again if given the opportunity and would highly recommend them to all friends and family members. Thank you so much for making my daughters wedding ceremony memorable.
The group was AMAZING. They took the time to sit down with us before the event so we could hear them play and discuss the music we wanted to have played. They were very easy and enjoyable to work with. I would highly recommend them for anyone that is looking for a quartet to play at a wedding.
