Overview
RetroActive was an exciting band playing the hits of the 60's, 70's, & 80's but has disbanded.
Bob Johnson is currently performing the same music solo playing guitar and singing using background music generated on an Ipad. If our audience isn't on the dance floor dancing, they are for sure singing along with the songs we all grew up with.

About
Bob Johnson sings and plays rhythm guitar and keyboard. In addition to playing guitar, keyboard, and drums with several bands during the last several decades, Bob was a recording engineer in a major downtown recording studio. He was fortunate enough to work with some of the best studio musicians in Chicago and several major touring acts such as: Foreigner, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, & The Atlanta Rhythm Section. Bob picked up most of what he knows about music from these players. He is very happy to be playing with RetroActive!
