For our corporate holiday party the played for over three hours and kept the crowd energized the entire time. From their interactions with the crowd to the quality or music they were nothing but excellent!

October 11, 2022WOW!! What a show! The adrenaline was pumping from start to finish in this trip through the 80s greatest hits. The vocalists belted the tunes that made the 80s the best and most memorable Era of music. From Poison to Prince and everything in between. They had us singing and dancing all night. Definitely a "totally awesome show." It was tripindicular in raddest way. Cross cuff your jeans, grab your favorite concert tee, bottle of Aqua Net and get ready to part to the 80s!!

They are very personable and even dress the part. The night turned out even better than we dreamed of, so many people commented on just how fun RetroActive is and what an amazing night is was. We have state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems that can cover small clubs to outdoor festivals.

While other tribute bands emulate one particular artist or band, we bring back the sights, sound and memories of that decade when MTV actually played music videos. The 1980s!
When it comes to live 80's music, no one does it like RetroActive. We have always been a great band having a great time and the people we play for help make that happen! We've been doing this for almost 15 years....WOW! The party is still going strong and showing no signs of slowing down. With RetroActive you truly get taken back in time in both sight and sound. We are one of the signature bands in the mid west and a show that you don't want to miss.
Anybody can learn to play some songs and call themselves a band but we are entertainers.
We are 6 live musicians playing real instruments (no backing tracks here!) We are all about giving you an Awesome 80s experience all the way down to the clothes we wear!!
We feature both male and female lead vocalist so we can bring you a wide variety of your favorite 80s songs.
The music we play makes it impossible not to dance and sing along while we take the audience on visual and sonic ride and we all have a great time doing so.

We are a professional, fun and easy act to work with.
We do ask, at a minimum, for a secure playing location, some food and drink, enough clean electric power to run the show and a clean room for getting into our Totally Awesome 80s stage clothes.
We have various levels of sound and light production available based on the size of your event, venue, budget etc.
Note: Travel greater than 90 miles beyond the Kansas City area could be subject to lodging arrangements for the band.
