We play crowd favorite songs that make you want to get up and dance and sing along. We've been rebooked where we have played (Monkey Bar, Trillions Sports Bar, Cincinnati Reds, Kings Island Camp Cedar, Wetherington CC, Rising Star Casino, Municipal Brew Works and more). Highly recommend. We had a pool birthday party for my son and this was the perfect band for it. The comments besides Happy Birthday were what great band ! Will definitely use again.

August 20, 2025Love Love Love Retro Active Band!
We hired Retro Active Band to play at our Engagement Party a few weeks ago and they were AMAZING! Dave was great from the git-go with communication. Colleen has an incredible voice! The band came dressed for the occasion and were very personable. We had several compliments throughout the evening asking us where we got our band. The music selection was great. Dave even offered to play our favorite song using their sound system for our special dance. We cannot say enough great things about these wonderful folks. If you get the opportunity to have them play at your event, you won’t be disappointed! We absolutely LOVED them!

We hired retroactive band for our annual 4th of July party. Despite the rain putting a little damper on things, the band was great and all the band members were so nice and wonderful to work with! They were even able to collaborate smoothly with sincerely Elvis tribute band, the Elvis impersonator that we hired! Fantastic time all around!

We had the Retroactive band play a 4 hour private event - they provided an awesome main feature to a great party! Dave and the band are so professional - their play-list is a perfect grouping of well known songs that energize the guests and got folks up dancing, interacting and having a blast!... The band members are highly skilled musicians and Colleen on lead vocals is amazing - Myself and all the guests were blown away by their performance. I would highly recommend having Retroactive play your next event or whatever venue.. they will not disappoint!

What to expect
We are the Retroactive Band, and we've been performing in the Cincinnati area since 2019. We feature female vocals on songs from the 1960's - 2000's... by Linda Ronstadt, Carole King, Supremes, Sonny & Cher, Martina McBride, Bonnie Raitt, Go-Go’s, B-52s, Fleetwood Mac, Melissa Etheridge, The Beatles, Creedence, and many more. We play songs that will make you want to get up and dance and sing along. We've been rebooked where we have played. We are easy to work with and will follow any instructions you give us. You can expect us to play very familiar cover songs that are easy to dance to and fun to sing along with.

You do not need to supply anything except a place to setup. We bring our own power cords, PA, mics, speakers, lights, etc.
