We offer multiple options for beverage catering, ranging from simple staffing to complete full service packages that include all the mixers and glassware you might need, as well as custom cocktail creation and assistance with composing your bar order.
All our bartenders are TABC certified and we are fully insured with both general liability insurance and liquor liability insurance.

Q.) How many bartenders do I need?
A.) We recommend 1 bartender behind the bar to every 50 guests when offering a full bar and one bartender behind the bar for every 60 or so guests when only offering beer and wine at your bar. If you’re planning on passing champagne or cocktails additional bartenders are needed and are base on guest count and time frames for service. We can help you determine how many bartenders and staffing you’ll need for your event. Just email us or give us a call and we’d be happy to discuss your individual event needs.
Q.) What do your bartenders wear?
A.) Our bartenders dress in a modern relaxed style that includes chambray shirts, dark denim jeans or tan trousers, and coordinating service aprons for most events. If you would like other looks, please let us know and we can have our team to coordinate with your event.
Q.) Do you have bar packages that include all the items we need for the bar?
A.) We sure do. You can find them at this link - (link hidden)
Q.) How much time do you need to set up the bar before my event and cleanup afterwards?
A.) Our team generally needs 1 hour to set up a bar and approximately 30 minutes to clean up afterward. Larger set ups and more extensive bars may need additional set up time.
Q.) Do you wash the glassware?
A.) Our bartenders do not wash glassware on site at an event. We really need them at the bar! We can use glassware that you have rented or have available for us or we can provide glassware at an additional fee. Once used, rented glassware will be emptied and placed back in the rental crates they came in and glasses you provided will be placed in the containers they were provided in.
Q.) Do you bus the tables of glassware?
A.) Our behind the bar bartenders will not bus any glassware from tables or other locations. If you know that you will need bussing service of glassware you can add additional bartending staff for this purpose.
Q.) What is the deposit to book my event?
A.) We require a 50% deposit to book your event and hold your event date. Any remaining payments are due no later than 14 days before your event date. Deposits are non-refundable for any reason.
Q.) How much beer, wine, and liquor I need to purchase?
A.) That depends on a number of factors – how many guests you’re expecting, what type of bar service you will have (only beer and wine, full bar, etc), and how long you’ll have the bar open for. Once you reserve your date with us our staff will work with you to determine exactly what you will need for your event. Then we’ll connect with Spec’s and get a full liquor proposal emailed directly to you. All you have to do at that point is hop over to Spec’s to pay for your order. They’ll even deliver it for you!
Q.) Can you pick up the bar order for us?
A.) Unfortunately, our staff can’t pick up your bar order for you, but Spec’s and most liquor stores offer easy delivery within a 2 hour window.
Q.) Do you offer tea or coffee service?
A.) Yes, we offer a cold water and tea service and a hot coffee and tea service. We are proud to offer Community Coffee brand coffee at all of our events!
Q.) Do you serve shots?
A.) As a general rule, no. Most venues will not allow shots to be provided to guests and we think that’s a pretty good rule to follow. You want your guests to be able to get home safely – and to be able to remember your awesome event! However, there are circumstances where we will allow this – Tequila shot escort card wall, ceremonial bridal party shot, etc. Basically a one-time deal that is part of a celebration or tradition, not something that is offered at the bar.
Q.) Do you offer tastings?
A.) Yes, we are happy to offer a custom tasting of your craft or signature cocktails at our downtown Austin office. A $250 tasting fee plus cost of supplies applies.
Q.) Can I pay with a credit card? Is there a fee? What about checks?
A.) You may pay with cash, check, or credit card. We DO NOT charge an additional fee for credit cards.
Q.) How far do you travel outside of Austin?
A.) We will travel up to 30 miles from downtown Austin at no charge. Over 30 miles incurs a .75 per mile fee. Events that are more than a 2 hour drive from downtown Austin will require hotel lodging for our event staff. We’ll go as far as you want us to go, as long as you want to pay the mileage and lodging for our staff.
Q.) Do you provide tubs and taps for beer kegs?
A.) No, we do not. If you’re using kegs for your bar service you’ll need to have the kegs already set up in tubs of ice. We do have a 4 tap keg wall that you can use for this if you would like.

A.) Yes, they are.
Q.) Do you carry insurance?
A.) Yes, we are fully insured with both general liability insurance and liquor liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance to your venue upon request.

Far too often the bar at an event is an afterthought and that just doesn’t make sense to us. Your bar is the one place that all your guests are going to visit at least once, and most likely several times, throughout the night. And we think that deserves some extra special attention! One of the most important things at your event is your guest’s experience, and it’s our goal to make each of your guests feel welcome and well taken care of. We pride ourselves on our personable, professional bartenders.

Meet Ginny, Austin’s first mobile bar creation that started as a vintage horse trailer! Ginny is available for rental for corporate events, weddings, and private parties. She is perfect for a mobile bar, coffee bar, ice cream or sno cone service trailer, custom corporate installations, styled photo shoots, and much more. Our mobile bar can be rented alone or fully staffed with bartending and/or service staff.
Mobile Bar Rental Rates -
Drop Off Trailer Bar Rental $295 / Hour, 3 hour service minimum
Staffed Trailer Bar Rental $275 / Hour, 4 hour service minimum (save $20 per hour!)
Includes –
· Mobile Bar Delivery and Set up within 30 miles of downtown Austin
· Client must provide electrical access (1-110 outlet) within 50 feet of bar. If no electrical access is available, a $150 generator rental fee will apply
· Drop off may occur up to one (1) hour prior to rental start time
Bartending Packages –
All of Rent The Bar’s bar packages include a phone consultation, where we’ll discuss the complete details of your event’s bar needs. We’ll then prepare a proposal of services for bartending and bar package services, help you determine beer, wine, and liquor types and quantities, possibly even work with you to create a signature or craft cocktail, and review set up details and timelines of the event day.
We’re not just “behind the bar”. You’ll love our mobile cocktail servers that can move around your event and serve your guests directly. Signature cocktails passed upon guest arrival, champagne handed out to all guests as they’re leaving a ceremony site, or wine passed at dinner are just some of the options that are available with our bar staff.
All our bartenders are TABC certified and we are fully insured with both general liability insurance and liquor liability insurance. We can provide a certificate of insurance to your venue upon request.
Bartender Staffing (with a bar package) $40 / Hour, 4 hour service minimum

*Bar staff needs at least 1 hour for most bar set ups and 30 minutes to 1 hour of event clean up. For events with multiple bartenders, staggered bartender schedules may be ideal, where less bartenders are needed for set up and clean up and the full bartending staff will work the event only. (Staff minimum hours still apply.)
