Renee Hagar-Smith - Resilience, Rebirth, and Reimagined Leadership
Overview
At 56, I did the unthinkable: I sold my suburban home, my car, my summer home, and every possession I owned in an estate sale. I moved into a 300-sq.ft. studio in the heart of Boston. A complete rebirth.
As a human-centered trainer & suicide loss survivor, I know true leadership isn't found in what you own but what you have the audacity to strip away. Downsize to upsize your impact.
I deliver high-stakes keynotes & workshops that move beyond "burnout" and into real change. Whether it's a 45-min keynote or a 90-min intensive, I help high-performers reclaim the pen to their own story and uncover the boldest, brightest, and most sovereign version of themselves to build a culture of alignment.

What to expect
Expect an enlightening journey that hits the heart and stays there. I don’t deliver lectures; I share a vibrant, soulful story of what happens when you have the audacity to choose yourself. My sessions are designed to be a pattern interrupt—part storytelling, part deep-dive strategy, and entirely human. Your audience will leave feeling lighter, deeply seen, and inspired to reclaim the pen to their own story with a renewed sense of trust in themselves.
About
Most of us are taught to lead by fitting into a mold—a system that asks us to dim our light and redline our energy until we are hollow. As a human-centered strategist and the founder of the Human Cohesion Connection™ Method, I spent 15 years in corporate leadership faking a smile while my personal life was crumbling under the weight of survival mode. I realized that to lead others, I first had to reclaim the pen to my own story.
In 2026, at 56, I made a radical commitment to my own alignment. I did the unthinkable: I sold my suburban home, my car, and every possession I owned to move into a 300-sq.-ft. studio in the heart of the Boston Seaport. This wasn't a crisis; it was a Sovereign Rebirth. I am a witness to the fact that you can downsize your life to upsize your global impact. I help women and high-performers release the performative version of success to find the boldest, brightest version of themselves underneath.
I deliver high-stakes keynotes and 90-minute intensives that move beyond "burnout" talk and into the architecture of real change. Whether on a keynote stage or in a boardroom, I help the collective move from stagnation into a vibrant new vibration of trust, wholeness, and flow.
