Hailing from Roanoke, Virginia, Relinquish is a musical group with a penchant for timeless country melodies, pop hooks and uplifting lyrics borrowing from the tradition of classic, and modern CCM. Very Professional

I am a promoter and I work with bands regularly. Relinquish is one of the most proficient, effective, and organized bands in the business. They have everything down to an art. Our community enjoyed them very much, and I can't wait to bring them back in on another tour in the future.

D-Now Youth Conference

I loved working with this group. They took our event to an entire new level that we had not experienced. These guys are real deal on and off stage. They interact with the students, and love being able to impact students that are coming up in the next generation. They are priced fairly, they sound great, and I will definitely be bringing them in the future.

Relinquish Acoustic Show

One of the best events our church has ever put on. We are trying to reach out to younger families, and younger adults. This event was great to involve every generation in our church, and the band did a great job with the show. We as a church will be bringing them in again next year.

Youth Conference (Virginia)

We hired this band by taking a chance, and man did it pay off. This is one of the best bands we have had at a youth retreat in sometime. They are truly amazing men to work with, and have a heart for Jesus and youth. They not only did an excellent job on stage, but took the time to get to know the students, and connect with them. Some students lives were changed just because this band took the time to talk with them, and pray with them. We will definitely be using this band again in the future, and for other events that we hold yearly. I can not express to you how much our students and adults loved Relinquish.

I want to recommend Luke Fortner (Relinquish) to you and your church for consideration as a potential music guest in the near future. He and his band Relinquish are talented with the ability to connect to both young adults as well as seniors. Luke has a wide range of music and has the voice to sing every style from Contemporary Christian to Southern Gospel. He also has written and recorded his own songs with Relinquish. Luke's music is a tool to share the wonderful gospel of Christ and encourage God's People.
Luke was blessed to grow up in a Christian home and accepted Christ at a young age. He and his parents, Dan and Allyson are faithful members of FBC in Roanoke, VA and as a family they continue to demonstrate consistent Christian witness of faith and love for all who know them. Luke's musical talent goes far beyond his years and he is able to serve through his concert ministry, student and young adult services, Sunday morning worship and revival ministry across the country.

What to expect

Above all else, Relinquish is an energetic show, and keeps the crowd on their feet. Between the lighting, the Drums, the Piano, to the dancing, the crowd loves to see what they will do next. The concert normally lasts about 1 1/2 hours ,but Relinquish can do sets as small as 30 minutes. The band usually does a concert or worship set for youth conferences, fairs, festivals, youth rally's, church events, and concert venues. No one has ever come away regretting to see Relinquish, and are normally always coming back for the years to come.

About

Relinquish is a Virginia-based, Contemporary Christian & Worship band. With years of travelling on the road and writing music, we have developed a unique sound with a powerful live show. Relinquish has performed at a wide variety of festivals, camps, churches, and concert venues with the intent of spreading the Word of Christ to people across the country.

Our band name originates from the word “relinquish,” which means “to surrender” or “to release.” If there is any message we hope to express through our music, it is a surrendered life to Jesus Christ. Our passionate and devoted band members, Yanni, Connor, Jared, Cameron, and Luke, embody this mission. We are currently a part of the label, Liberty Music Group, located in Lynchburg, VA, and are pursuing degrees at the Liberty University School of Music.

Our EP, "Astray," was released in 2016, and since then we have had opportunities to share the stage with several national and international acts such as Bethel Music, Building 429, Sanctus Real, Colton Dixon, Unspoken, and Finding Favour. We have also made appearances on television networks such as NBC, KTV and CBS.

Additional booking notes

Relinquish travels with backline/ in-ears to most shows. Production will need to be provided for festivals, conferences, camps, and non tour events. Relinquish travels with a production manager that will coordinate a technical rider with each venue/ event as well as a stage plot and input list.

Note: If the band is doing a fly-in date backline, and in ears will need to be provided by the promoter.
