Marla is a multidisciplinary artist born in the city of Barcelona in 1996. Since an early age, she'd always shown a passion for dancing. I started performing in plays and dance shows when I was 4.
Four years ago, she discovered fire dancing. Specialized in Rope-Dart, a martial art prop consisting of a 6ft rope and a big fireball at the end, still a pretty unknown prop, she got to make herself a name, and she’s been performing and teaching in several countries in Europe, Asia, Australia, and America.
"Through fire-dancing, I love exploring themes of humankind. Bringing my own process of learning, hope, disillusionment and
life-resilience. My performance merges different disciplines: object manipulation, physical theatre, ancient fire rituals and dance (Hip-hop, Ballet and Contemporary)."
