Thank you for visiting Redwood Rose Photography! Since my childhood, I've had a passion for capturing images. I fell in love with photography when I got my first camera at 11 years old. My uncle was a photographer for National Geographic and my grandpa owned a newspaper, so I had plenty of good influences. I was fortunate that my high school had a great darkroom, and I became known as the "photographer for everything". I received a photography scholarship and continued on to earn my degree in photography, working for the local newspapers and producing many award winning fine art and documentary photos. In the last several years, my focus has been on creating images of weddings, engagements and other special events. My approach is photojournalistic but with a strong artistic element.

I've always been dedicated to the pursuit of authenticity and beauty in my craft, from black & white film to modern digital mediums. No matter the subject, I will always strive to make images that are both timeless and moving, real and unreal, beautiful and truthful.
