Rebecca Riter

My Name is Rebecca Riter, and I am a senior music student at SUNY Purchase with a focus on scoring for film and other media. I am looking to gain more experience and to expand my reel with different types of projects. Besides studying music in my conservatory, I am a multi instrumentalist with years of practice in guitar, bass, piano, percussion, and voice. I’d like to think my work is very versatile. I can’t seem to stay in one particular genre for too long; that is I am very interested in all styles of music. From writing pop tunes to moody piano or adventurous orchestral pieces, I like it all. Further, I will go to any lengths to make sure my client’s original music is exactly how they imagined it. Of course I have my artistic integrity to keep in mind, but I am very open to having the projects’s director or music supervisor heavily involved in the creative process. The quality of my compositions and the sound of them is extremely important to me. A lot of my work I record and mix in Logic 9, but with access to recording studios and equipment, I often work with audio engineers using Protools to produce a professional sounding musical piece sonically.
