Singer, songwriter, guitarist, recording artist, and Oklahoma native Rebecca J. Brock has been performing in restaurants, bars, coffee houses, festivals, and private parties since 2007. Prior to that, she studied classical guitar for six years. Artists such as Heart, Carole King, James Taylor, and Neil Young, and CCR have inspired Rebecca's deep passion for her music and, along with her classical training, have given her a solid foundation on which to develop her (link hidden)becca's style can be described as a soulful acoustic pop adult contemporary style with a classical and jazzy flavor.

Acoustic guitarist vocalist is available as a solo act or as a duo - performing classic rock and 60's and 70's cover songs. I have sound equipment for any size venue and I am available to travel to just about anywhere. If a fuller sound is required, I have access to a full band that I have performed with at many shows. I also have a wardrobe appropriate for entertaining at any type of function - casual to formal. I have performed at weddings, birthday parties, and onstage at concert venues. Most of my performances have been in restaurants where a softer sound and song selection is needed, and I have played at private parties and dances.
For my solo sound setup, I have a very nice Bose line array that works great for small - medium size venues or parties. For larger venues, I have a Yamaha P.A. setup that has several channels and works great for the acoustic duo/trio setup. For the band there will be a much larger board and sound setup. My microphones are standard Shure SM58's. I only play seated when performing classical guitar, and I have a Yamaha classical/electric for those performances. Otherwise I perform standing and my favorite guitars are Ovation electrics.

Although my favorite genre is classic rock, Carole King is my biggest influence, musically. I can play some solo classical pieces, and my favorite guitarist's music is Neil Young. I have much of his music in my repertoire. Also I play some Clapton and some Heart.
I usually have all equipment needed for a performance. As long as there is a source for electricity.
