About
Since I was a child. I remember my family photo album that would sit on the living rooms coffee table. My siblings and I would constantly look through the photos to find those happy memories to go back to. That album has not changed to this day. These photos were mainly taken with a kodak disposable camera. A film format that was revolutionary in the 90s and early 200s. My work explores the relationship between portraiture, life, and street photography. Since I started photography, I have been attracted to the nontraditional understanding of social norms. To me, it is not the quality of a picture, but the personal relationship one may gain while looking at a photo. This makes photography more about emotions and personality rather than how good it looks to the viewer.
