What to expect

I firmly believe almost everyone who thinks they want a giant snake or reptile really wants to play with one for an afternoon and have it go home with someone else. Here at Raymond's Noodles, we aim to offer exactly that, as well as many smaller, more realistic pets that many people may never get to see, let alone hold and play with. We specialize in interactivity and education about these animals and aim for every single one of our animals to be able to be handled. Knowing that my animals will be handled by children and inexperienced people, I work with my animals to ensure they will behave not only when handled "correctly" but also when handled "incorrectly," to ensure the safety of our clientele.

About

"You can have as many snakes as you want when you get your own house?" ~ my father approximately 20 years ago!
Well, now I have my own house and over 30 animals, and I love teaching people about them!
I got my first snake almost 10 years ago and never would have imagined it would lead me to this. I have since added many more snakes as well as other reptiles and critters to my collection and program.
I first got to hold a pet snake when I was in fifth grade, just before the above quote happened. Since then, I have been completely enthralled with snakes and almost every other reptile on earth, and dreamed of keeping my own.
My passion for animals grew immensely when I took the animal science program at my local Vocational school, where I learned about the care and behavior of many different animals. My program started in that very same classroom almost 10 years later, when one of my classmates became the teacher of that very program and invited me in to teach the kids about my animals. Since then, my collection has doubled in size, and my program has grown to reflect that.
I began my adult life as a CNC machinist, and that work has made all of this possible. While I may still end up going back to that for financial reasons, Raymond's Noodles will remain my top priority, and working with my animals will always be my dream. I love spending my free time at the Herps Alive Reptile Rescue and playing with my son and our collection of animals as well.
