With his latest album entitled Capture, singer songwriter Ray Buckner explores what it means to truly feel at home. From the aching opener Capture to the confessional closer Cardinal, the struggle of a tireless ambition is played against a longing for peace, taking the listener on a relentless journey to find balance.
Sonically, Ray Buckner's music is a healthy blend of americana and indie rock, bringing together the driving energy of a youth steeped in punk rock and the intimate, honest songwriting of a man gaining perspective. Ray has self released a live acoustic album, three EP's, and most recently a full length album entitled Capture. He has also maintained a steady touring schedule throughout the east coast, sharing the stage with artists such as Aaron Gillespie and Atlas Genius, as well as being featured live on WDVX in Knoxville, TN and 90.9 The Light in Lynchburg, VA.
