Rain & Leaves is a unique alternative rock duo from Webster, NY that creates electric and acoustic originals and covers of pop and alternative songs. With a backtracking system, they have developed into more of a full band sound including drums and synthesizers with a few acoustic songs as well. They are also able to accommodate venues that require full acoustic sets. They have played at Sticky Lips, Montage Music Hall, Boscos, Scotland Yard, Firehouse Saloon, California Brew Haus and Boulder Coffee Company among other locations.
Joshua and Cassandra met at a church. Actually, he was her bass teacher. They formed a band with some other friends and led weekly worship services and youth group meetings, as well as playing at private functions. Now they are on their own as a musical duo that creates electropop original and covers of popular and alternative songs. Their style is similar to Twenty One Pilots.
