Overview
We are a Husband + Wife duo and have played over 2,000 shows together, many as a cover band but we also write and perform our own music and have released 2 albums. In the last 8 years we've shared the stage with bands like Rusted Root, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Fastball and more.
Private Parties, Corporate Events and Weddings are our specialty! Our diverse song list can be great for so many different occasions! Rad is also available for solo performances when the occasion calls for it. We look forward to working with you!

We were absolutely blown away by Rad and Kell at our wedding! They were quick to respond and were flexible. We had to change our venue (time and location) a few months prior and they were very accommodating. I surprised my husband with a song dedication (I sang and played piano for him) and I worked with Rad and Kell prior to the wedding to balance me out with some back up vocals and guitar. They were so easy to coordinate with and made me feel so comfortable doing this surprise (I am not musically inclined). At our wedding, they were so friendly and nice. Their music was breathtaking! Many of our guests commented on how great their performance was. We had a truly wonderful experience with Rad and Kell and would strongly recommend booking them for any event! Live music is a great touch to your special day and we had a fantastic experience.

These two are the best! I was looking for a band to play in our backyard to celebrate my cousin and his fiance's Bachelor/Bachelorette Party. I heard of them by word of mouth through a friend and reached out to Rad. Rad and Kell were extremely easy to work with when planning everything and even went out of their way to learn some requested songs. They blew us away with their talent. If you're looking for great music, awesome performers, and someone that is easy to work with Rad and Kell are the way to go!

Rad and Kell have been a duo my husband and I LOVE, we just had to have them at our wedding on 11/2/2019. When planning your wedding you want everything to have meaning for you and these guys definitely do. We have been going to see them in Sea Isle City for years now and they are SO good. They play the perfect mix of songs, both old and new, and know how to keep a crowd entertained. They did not disappoint on our big day! They were absolutely perfect. Everyone was happy to see them playing (esp. because most of my family and friends also love them from other gigs). They are so super talented and fun, I would 100 percent recommend!!

While planning our 11/3/2019 wedding, I was on the hunt for the perfect band that would able to send out the vibe that we had in mind for our big day, and let me tell you, I found all of that and more with Rad and Kell. I have to admit, looking for our musical talent was by far one of the most stressful components of our wedding, but Matt made every detail seem so simple and I never had to worry about a single thing! A few months after booking with Rad and Kell on GigSalad, we took a trip down to a local bar in Philadelphia to hear them perform in person and as soon as we heard Kelly's voice, we were sure that we made the right decision! After their set, we approached them and as the 4 of us were talking, I felt like we have all known each other for years. It was such a comforting feeling! When communicating with Matt, he listened to my every want and need and was even super open to the things that I definitely didn't want (Sweet Caroline...ugh). Our reception was truly a dream come true and it wouldn't have been our day without them!

Rad and Kell started as a college project in 2011 at LaSalle University. Little did they know at the time, they were embarking on more than just a musical journey. Celebrating their 10th year in 2021, the now husband and wife duo has over 1,500 shows, an EP, and 2 full length albums under their belt. Their latest album “Seasons” was recorded and released in the midst of the Coronavirus Pandemic in November of 2020.
Over the last decade Rad and Kell have become a major fixture in the fertile Philadelphia area music scene. They have played venues like the Legendary Dobbs, Xfinity Live and the Fieldhouse, Ardmore Music Hall and played notable festivals such as Musikfest (Bethlehem, PA) and the Ladybug Festival (Wilmington, DE). In 2018 they played their first shows in New York City (Rockwood Music Hall) and Washington DC (Songbyrd), with the goal to play more shows outside of the tri-state area.
Their music reflects the optimism and pure joy that comes with love, and it's feel-good music at its finest. Rad and Kell married their musical inspirations to create a soul-pop duo that is reminiscent of male/female duos of the 60s and 70s but with a fresh twist that could only be from the 21st century. In addition to soul and pop, there’s a strong mix of R&B, funk and a little folk thrown in the groove.
