Overview
Rachel Sorsa Band is a five-piece stellar jazz ensemble: Piano, upright Bass, Drums, Trumpet, and Voice; or any combination. We deliver unique arrangements of straight ahead jazz, bossa nova, blues, swing, and soulful originals by Rachel Sorsa. We have been together for 8 years, have toured all of Southern California on the jazz circuit and have performed at numerous outdoor festivals, benefit concerts, and private events. We recently released our debut album, SISU, to wonderful critical acclaim. High energy or ambient, we always provide an extremely entertaining show. Flexible in size from quintet to duo and extremely vast repertoire. Professional, classy, and fun!

Rachel Sorsa Band is a five-piece stellar jazz ensemble: Piano, upright Bass, Drums, Trumpet, and Voice. We deliver unique arrangements of straight ahead jazz, bossa nova, blues, swing, and soulful originals by Rachel Sorsa. We have been together for 5 years, have toured all of Southern California on the jazz circuit and have performed at numerous outdoor festivals, benefit concerts, and private events. Rachel, also a successful actress, is a highly performative vocalist and together we always provide an extremely entertaining show. We are flexible in size, providing unique Bass/Voice only sets, or core trio Piano, Bass, Voice; quartet, or quintet. Professional, classy, and fun!
