QWERT Poetry
Overview
QWERT Poetry is a poetry experience. Guests may choose any topic for a poem which will be composed within minutes on a typewriter, read aloud, and packaged to take home. Requesters may choose their paper of choice, a wax stamp, and an optional frame. For special events custom poems are a wonderful opportunity to entertain guests and give them something they won’t forget.

What to expect
An opportunity for every guest to celebrate someone or something captured in the form of a poem, note, or story. The composition process is on display for everyone to experience the sound of an antiquated machine (the typewriter) and listen to the musical poetry read aloud. Every poem is wax stamped and people love to watch their wax melting before becoming part of their custom poem. Pre-written poems may be prepared ahead of time too.
About
Pierce Logan is a poet, typewriter poet, language teacher and all-around artist based in New Jersey. He began writing poetry at age 14 and began typewriter poetry in 2015. Pierce loves to socialize with people through this unique art of writing for others. Pierce believes that what or who we value can often be lost in our daily lives. The poetry request stand is a place to feel fulfilled and excited in celebration or catharsis. Besides composing on-demand poems for the public, Pierce exhibits framed poetry in galleries in New Jersey and New York, tutors English, and offers one-on-one workshops and classes.
