My goal for every event is to provide a highly professional, reliable, and tailored musical experience. To help create the best possible atmosphere, I prioritize careful practice and thorough preparation for every performance.

Here is what you can generally expect based on the type of gig you are booking:

**One-Song & Special Request Gigs (Weddings, Tributes, Proposals)**
If you need a specific song prepared for a special moment, I will carefully arrange and practice it to fit your vision. Please provide 1 week of notice for standard songs, and 2 weeks of notice for advanced pieces.

**Set List & Background Music Gigs (Receptions, Parties, Corporate Events)**
If you are looking for ambient music or a specific vibe, I can provide a curated, continuous set list spanning classical, gospel, jazz, and R&B. For these events, I am comfortable playing by ear and following chord charts to keep the atmosphere exactly where it needs to be.

**Sheet Music & Accompaniment Gigs (UIL Competitions, Recitals, Church Services)**
For gigs requiring me to perform strictly from provided sheet music, I prioritize thorough preparation to aim for a great performance. Because I focus on mastery rather than on-the-spot sight-reading, I request 1 to 3 months of notice for highly complex or professional-level pieces.

**Gospel & Church Gigs (Old 100s, Kirk Franklin, John P. Kee, Tamela Mann—y'all know what I mean!)**
I can play pretty much anything in this genre. If it's a hard Richard Smallwood or Glen Burleigh type of piece, just give me about 2 weeks to really dig in and get used to it. I know the basic hymns like *Pass Me Not* and *We've Come This Far By Faith*, but please don't assume I know every single one by heart! If I'm familiar with the song, I can usually follow right along with you. We don't typically play straight out of the hymn book, but if you throw one at me that I don't know at all, I can definitely get the concept out of the book and make it work.

**Need a Last-Minute Musician?**
While the timelines above are my standard, depending on my teaching schedule, I can sometimes prepare for a gig in just a few days! Please always feel free to reach out and check my current availability.

Regardless of the event type, I will always communicate honestly and clearly leading up to the date and strive to provide a seamless musical experience.

As an experienced and versatile pianist/keyboardist, I love to provide music for weddings, private parties, church services, receptions, and UIL competitions. I am comfortable performing classical, gospel, jazz, and R&B, and can adapt to your event's needs by reading sheet music, following chord charts, or playing by ear.

In addition to my extensive performance background, I hold a B.A. in Music Education with piano as my primary instrument. Professionally, I actively serve as a public school head choir director, private piano instructor, and church Music Director. Whether you need elegant classical background music, energetic R&B, or a reliable fill-in musician, I have the experience and dedication to elevate your next event.

Equipment & Setup:

I provide my own professional, full-size keyboard and a standard amplifier, which meets the needs of most gigs.

My setup is compact and typically only requires a small space to fit comfortably.

Power: I will need access to a standard, dedicated power outlet near the performance area.

Sound & House Systems:

For larger rooms or outdoor spaces, I can bring up to two additional amps to help balance and fill out the sound.

If I am expected to plug into a house PA system, please let me know in advance if the venue will provide the cables, or specify the type and length of cables I need to bring.

Additional Options:

I can provide basic preset lighting to enhance the visual atmosphere of the performance for an additional fee.
