Queen It Shall Be

Audiences can expect to have listen, laugh, learn and wonder why someone hasn't said this kind of stuff before. I give a performance that can be related to by even the most diverse audience. I don't attempt to go over anyone's head with my poetry. I have a conversation with the audience and I very seldom will come with a poem that doesn't challenge you to think differently about female poets from the moment I begin to speak.

For hosting, game nights and game shows, you can expect an experience the audience will enjoy and remember for years to come! With hosting, I bring along tabletop games that I've created (Hillman The Game, Flavor The Game, and The Spades Coach) for attendees to play and interact with. I host a The In All Series-Ness Game Show which is a trivia style activity for willing participants to play. Games may be customized to tailor to the event as well as a playlist of video guessing games for either background viewing or live competition. It's a one-of-a-kind service guaranteed to bring about some fun and a story to tell. Prepare to engage!

I'm your friendly neighborhood Younicorn! Brooklyn, NY native residing in Columbia, SC for over 20 years. I am a mother, sister, loving friend and supporter of local talent, events and organizations that loves to laugh, smile, and have a good Black time.

Originally a spoken word artist, I now develop tabletop board games, host tabletop gaming events, and host game shows all while celebrating Black culture inspired by sitcoms, cinema, and original content.

For poetry, I'm known for performances ranging from those catered to sensitive ears to freestyle to awareness to in your face, uncut and raw. I have participated in over 100 features and slams across the country to date. I have taken first place in several poetry slams including winning the Queen of the South Poetry Slam held in Greenville, South Carolina in 2011.

For hosting, I like to think I'm hilarious. Turns out some other people thinks so too! Similar to my spoken word artistry, I come with a comedic flair and shock value encased in a very personable delivery. Fear not, I know when not to use profanity and I will always request consent to be sure. I enjoy engaging with my audiences while making sure to treat environments I'm invited into with safety, care and respect. I'm here to help good people have a good time and I'm real good at it!
