This is the 3rd time we have used Queen Emeralda! She is an amazing storyteller, and she really knows her audience. She can adjust her time, stories and audience participation according to the age and needs of the audience. She and her husband are very easy to work with and such happy, friendly people. We will be using them again!

This is our second summer with Queen Emeralda, and she never disappoints. Our kids have the best time at her show, they laughed and played along with all of her stories. I also loved the fact that she asked what our summer camp theme was and then rearranged her show to match our theme.

Queen Emeralda was fantastic. She kept our summer campers and preschool entertained with her jokes, songs, magic tricks, and marionettes. Our kids had a great time and we will keep her lined up for future visits.

I booked Queen Emeralda as a storyteller to go along with our camp theme. Her performance was mainly magic tricks, which most of the campers enjoyed. I really wanted a storyteller who would engage our campers through storytelling.

I used magic tricks to give examples of different Superhero powers. I did less magic with the older groups. I'm not sure if you saw that the children improvised Superhero characters by creating Super Poses. They acted out environments. They created superheroes using props and helping people by overcoming problems.

About
Kay Rosenblum (Queen Emeralda) has performed at libraries throughout Georgia including Statesboro Regional Library, Hall County Library, Atlanta Public Library, Downtown Branch. She has appeared at Circus Camp (Decatur and Dunwoody locations), Pinckneyville Arts Center, Elementary Schools, Discover Mills Book Store, Grant Park Festival , Standard Country Club, Elbert Theatre, Aurora Theatre, Tour de 29 Festival in Palmetto and Community Day at Georgia Public Broadcasting.
Kay is a Georgia Council for the Arts Residency Artist, Education Consultant, and Touring Artist. She is a workshop teacher for Young Audiences.
In addition to storytelling and working as a school residency artist, Kay is also an actress and can be seen in a Miracle Ear commercial.
