This here unplugged band be performin' classic sea shanties, sailor songs, and a sprinkle o' modern hits and our own original tunes. We've sailed through many a port in Orange, Los Angeles, and Riverside, entertainin' at maritime festivals, pirate faires, private shindigs, and more.
We love t' interact and engage with our audience, havin' 'em sing along and join us. Aye, humor be a big part of our show, with a dash o' learnin' about real historical pirates. We be bringin' fun fer all ages, grown-ups and wee ones alike!

Queen Anne's Blouse provides a cohesive pirate musical experience, ranging from classic sea shanties, sailor songs, some contemporary hits, and a few originals based on actual historical pirates. We add lots of humor to our shtick, tailored for both kids and adults alike. Expect a complete show! We work best as an act in the spotlight where we get to interact with an audience, but can also provide background pirate flair.
At the Orange Street Fair in 2017, Joel Robinson was busking outside the event dressed as a pirate, when Jon Johnson happened to walk by. A musician and pirate enthusiast himself, he appreciated the entertainment Joel brought to the entrance. They exchanged contact information, and not long after they were jamming together. Bringing a few more colleagues in, they decided to make this a permanent fixture; thus Queen Anne's Blouse was born! Now, the whole group can be seen busking and gigging all around Orange County.
We work under a pretty small footprint, and we are all acoustic. No amplification or electrical needs for indoor and small outdoor areas.
