After a client books me, I will consult with them via Zoom to discuss their vision and goals for their makeup look. That conversation will include details about skin allergies, the occasion, outfit, hair styling, and skin sensitivities.

A touch-up kit is available upon request that includes a powder puff, your lip color, lip gloss, loose powder, and a lip brush.

A designated makeup area and travel needs to be discussed prior to the session. Locations 30 miles away from Fredericksburg are subject to a travel fee. I would need to know if I need to provide my own makeup location or if the client would be traveling to me. If there is more than one person, I can create a time schedule.

On the day of, I prefer to arrive early because anything could happen at any given moment, and I need the buffer to set up and find the location. I will then text or call my point of contact or client to let them know that I have arrived.

Makeup always intrigued me as a child. My mom would allow me to play with her makeup and paint her face during her evening naps. It was so much fun making her up and being creative.

I expanded on my love for makeup throughout high school, where I tried out different makeup looks on myself to find my own personal style. This was peak YouTube makeup tutorials era. Because makeup artistry education was becoming more accessible, it was easier for me to learn and explore my makeup creativity.

After graduating from high school, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and attended makeup school, where I obtained a makeup artistry certificate so I could do makeup professionally. It was an exciting time, and I was nervous. Because of my nervousness, the only way I could grow was to keep putting myself out there. So, I started building my portfolio so I could begin to be seen and get booked for makeup jobs.

Today, I do glam stage makeup for bodybuilding competitions, and I translate that glam makeup style to people who don't compete, but can still get glammed up for their special event or just because they want their makeup done.

If there is a specific lighting my client will be placed in, I prefer to know the color temperature (Kelvin) of the lighting so that I can accommodate it within my makeup application.
