Adam has three show formats:

1) Mix and Mingle

With the mix and mingle (or strolling) format Adam will move around the room engaging small groups in short performances that will leave them speechless. His performances are a fusion of carefully selected magic tricks, mind-reading, and legitimate psychology demonstrations. Guests will be amazed when they divine a stranger's iPhone passcode or when Adam is able to duplicate a drawing that he has never seen before. You’ll always know where Adam is – just listen for the laughter and the shouts of “That's impossible!”

2) The Mind Reading Show

Adam’s formal mentalism show is a unique and amazing demonstration of mind-reading, persuasion, and influence. It is fun, interactive, and completely self-contained. The show can last 20, 30, or 45 minutes, and requires no special equipment – just some participants who are eager to be amazed!

3) Master Your Memory Keynote

In addition to performing as a magician and mentalist, Adam is also available for speaking engagements. As a cognitive psychology professor, Adam does cutting edge research on learning and memory and is a highly rated teacher. Adam began performing sleight-of-hand magic in high school as a hobby and was quickly drawn to the psychological aspects of magic. How was it possible to manipulate someone’s attention? Or cause them to remember something that never occurred? After studying psychology in college Adam went to Washington University in St. Louis to earn his PhD with one of the world’s leading experts on memory.

During that time Adam continued to perform and refine his approach to performing, choosing to focus on a sub-field of magic known as mentalism, which deals exclusively with the mind. Adam was never interested in many "traditional" approaches to magic: he had no desire to pull a rabbit out of a hat or to do big box illusions on a stage. Instead, he focused on creating magic and mind-reading that felt real by using magic, psychology, humor, and even a little hypnosis.

In St. Louis Adam began performing professionally at corporate events and private parties. Notable clients include the Ameristar Casino, the River City Casino, Washington University School of Medicine, and the International Society of Event Specialists.

Today, Adam is a professor at Furman University, one of the top small colleges in the country, where he teaches classes in psychology and researches human learning and memory. He often uses magic or mind-reading stunts in his classes to explain various functions of the human mind.
