Psychic Readings by Elizabeth

Elizabeth was very affordable, responsive and amenable to taking additional safety protocol due to the pandemic including wearing a mask and taking a test we provided her prior to coming into the party. We were very grateful for her willingness to support our needs in that way!

I will say, the experience beyond that was a little mixed. I had specifically discussed with her prior to the event that we were aiming for a more lighthearted feeling and asked if she could keep the readings high level and positive or neutral, but nothing super negative or vibe-killing. I also shared the number of guests we had and asked if the proposed time frame would work for that number of guests to be read. She said yes to both, so I thought we were all set! It would allow a very short reading for all, which should have lent itself to the brevity and lightness we had discussed.

However it did not quite follow that logic in reality, haha.... The readings were very long and kind of intense, and from what I overheard a little too severe for the atmosphere we had discussed. I also heard from several of the guests that they were up-sold on other services during their reading which made them uncomfortable. She was not able to make it through even half of the guests in the time frame, and was about to leave without even getting to the bride (it was a bachelorette party) which felt off to me. I believe that should have been something that she ensured she got to, or at lease alerted someone if she was running low on time and hadn't gotten to the bride yet. We ended up having to pay extra for her to stay longer and read the bride. We were happy to pay her for her time, but felt that she could have managed her time better or alerted someone that she only had time for one more reading etc. so we didn't have to go over and pay extra. We completely understood that she couldn't make it through everyone at the party as planned, but missing the bride was not great.

That being said, although it was a mixed experience, it was definitely a conversation starter at the party! If you are looking to hire Elizabeth, I would maybe just recommend setting a timer, making a schedule for individuals looking to be read so that it can stay on track, and maybe sharing more specific expectations.

Elizabeth was great! My guests had a great time and had nothing but nice things to say. Highly recommend!
