Pro-Lif-ik

Christopher Long, Pro-lif-ik, was born in Helsinki, Finland. He moved to Indiana in his early childhood and grew up in Maryland in the suburbs of Baltimore. With a background in music theory he began playing piano at a young age which drew him into hip-hop during the early 90s. Pro-lif-ik’s earlier influences included mostly west coast hip-hop including Kurupt and 2Pac. Later, his other influences included Nas, AZ, and Cannibus. He began serious writing at the age of 17 after dabbling with music at an early age.
