August 4, 2025Just lovely and engaging
Princess Etch visited our summer camp and the kids absolutely loved every minute of her workshop. They were engaged and very creative with their time. I would love for her to come back again next year!

What to expect
For live speed art events: Princess Etch will arrive with her Etch A Sketch canvases at the ready. If necessary, she will have an assistant as well. Guests sit across from Princess Etch as she renders their portraits or requests in minutes. Venues are welcome to provide equipment so that her work can be projected for audiences to more easily see. Otherwise, it's advisable to place her in a location where foot traffic can easily get around as crowds typically stick around to watch her work. All that is required is a table, 4 chairs, decent lighting, and access to a power outlet.
Princess Etch will sit across from guests and render their request using the two knobs of an Etch A Sketch while having pleasant conversation. Upon request completion, guests are welcome to leave their art until the end of the event, which gives other guests an opportunity to check out renditions that were made before theirs. The art can be made completely permanent, and the care card explains the preservation process and includes information on how to best display the work. Additional live event offerings can be provided if interested.
For live long demos: Princess Etch simply requires a table and chair to work, with the option for her art to be live projected for many guests to see from a distance.
For workshops: Princess Etch provides all Etch A Sketches and educational materials. AV equipment will be required if interested in the optional slideshow. Workshops typically last 1 hour.
About
My name is Jane, and Princess Etch is both my alter ego and my magnum opus. Through her I create Etch A Sketch art that aims to inspire nostalgia, whimsy, and wonder across generations!
Etch A Sketch artistry has been my full-time profession since 2016. So how do I manage to make a living doing this? I create permanent commissioned art, live event portraiture, time-lapse videos, and host educational workshops. I also earn revenue through live streaming and sharing videos on social media. I've amassed audiences of over 500,000 followers on TikTok and 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.
Notable clients include Disney, Netflix, The New York Times, TikTok, Cartoon Network, MTV, Marvel, Nickelodeon, Universal Pictures, Toys R Us, Ripley’s Believe it or Not!, and more. Notable shout-outs include People Magazine, The Today Show, Britney Spears, Pee-wee Herman, Modern Marvels, The Museum of Modern Art, The Art Institute of Chicago, and more.
My mission is to encourage children (and children at heart!) to embrace the analog nostalgia intrinsic to the classic medium, which serves as canvas, toy, and pop culture icon. I wholeheartedly believe my life serves as an example that if you commit strongly enough to a bit, you might be able to make a silly career out of it, too!
Additional booking notes
In the event that you would be interested in projecting the live portraits being rendered on a larger screen, AV equipment is required. For local events Princess Etch can provide camera equipment as well as a computer monitor for projection. She is also happy to work with AV equipment provided on-site: all she needs is an HDMI hookup and she can bring the rest.
