July 28, 2025Phantom of the Paradise 50th Anniversary
Peter, being one of the stars of the 1974 movie, Phantom of the Paradise, was a key star of our Friday (evening) and Saturday (matinee & evening) event, on Nov 1st & 2nd, 2024, which drew over the 2 days over 4,000 fans. Peter provided his superb talents of story telling and musical song (playing guitar and singing) on the Friday event, as well as joined in during the matinee and evening shows on the Saturday, chairing Q&A's as well as singing and dancing with the band Swanage. An amazing talent and we, the committee, and the fans were very entertained.

July 24, 2025Peter Elbling performance review for the 50th anniversary
Peter Elbling’s headlining performance at the 50th anniversary celebration of Phantom of the Paradise was nothing short of extraordinary. As both a musician and storyteller, he captivated the audience with a rare blend of talent, charm, and authenticity that perfectly honored the legacy of the cult classic.
From the moment he stepped on stage, Peter commanded the room with his musical prowess. His performance was polished yet raw in all the right ways—evoking the spirit of the film while adding his own unique flair. Whether behind the microphone or seated at an instrument, his musicianship was impeccable: emotive, technically skilled, and deeply connected to the material. Each note felt intentional, carrying with it decades of experience and artistry.
But what truly set Peter apart was his storytelling. With humor, heart, and a twinkle in his eye, he shared behind-the-scenes anecdotes, personal reflections, and tales from the making of Phantom of the Paradise that delighted longtime fans and newcomers alike. His stories weren’t just entertaining—they added dimension to the performance, breathing new life into the film’s legacy and making the evening feel intimate and unforgettable.
Peter Elbling didn’t just perform—he transported us. His ability to blend music and narrative into a seamless, emotional journey made the 50th anniversary celebration a truly historic event. We couldn’t have asked for a better headliner.
A class act, a gifted artist, and a born storyteller—Peter Elbling was a highlight of the entire festival.

What to expect
Prince Peter’s show, It’s Never Too Late, incorporates comedy, drama, songs, stories and reflections on the lives we lead.
A singer/songwriter, Peter accompanies himself on guitar while singing original songs about love gone wrong - and right, the power of music and staying sane in an insane world. A few song titles include, Appetite for Joy, God is Dead and Missed Opportunities. He invites the audience to join him on, On Your Way Out Shut The Door.
Peter mines his own life for stories about volunteering as a cuddler in a children’s hospital, the benefits of getting robbed, and the weirdness of show business. The show, which lasts an hour and 15 mins, is 60% music and 40% stories, although this can be adjusted depending on the situation. Regardless of age, there is something for everyone from people in their 20's and up because Prince Peter loves interacting with the audience.
