What to expect
One can expect a pleasant and fun artist that can entertain your guests. I am a cultured. world traveler with a degree in art history and a back ground in fine arts, I love to engage in fun conversation while I work, ensuring that every guest is comfortable while experiencing the henna art. Every henna appointment varies but I make sure to inquire about the event's theme so to prepare ahead of time and also arrive with proper attire. Private events may need a minimum of two hours . Every client is provided information for maintenance care for the henna design as well.
I am professional, courteous of your space, I am fast with my work and very communicative so to meet my client's needs.
About
I have been working with henna art for nearly two decades. I have traveled with my work and as an extrovert, I love meeting people from all corners of the earth. I focus on earthy designs, very much inspired by Italian art nouveau, arabian floral work, sacred geometry and Indian Mehendi. I am borne and raised in Italy and I have a been doing art for the majority of my life. Floral work is my biggest passion. Aside from being a painter and graphic designer, I love to use henna and jagua gel as an art medium. All the work is created artistically without the use of stencils nor images, it is all original.
Of course, every henna artist will have their own signature style, mine is art nouveau and florals.
I enjoy doing pre-natal henna belly decor, birthday parties and wedding events.
I am available for arts and crafts shows, special events like bachelorette parties, graduations, holiday parties and corporate events.
I prepare my own paste with organic henna and high grade essential oils with my home made recipe so that the stain's result is a beautiful rich red to enure the highest quality product with only non toxic ingredients. I also work with Jagua, a fruit from the Amazon forest. This is a more recent addition to my work. Jagua creates a gorgeous dark blue color.
Additional booking notes
I provide seating and a decorated table (or booth for an event that is a minimum of 5 hours in duration), this is unless the client already has an area that already includes table and chairs for me to do henna.
The henna stain responds best to warmer temperatures, so it is advised that the enviroment be at least 65-70F degrees or hotter.
Indoors is best during the cooler months.
Also, it is best to receive henna earlier in the day than later so to allow it maximum staining time, although it is possible to establish henna art so that it continues to stain during the night.

Influences and inspiration
My work is greatly influenced by 1930's art nouveau floral line. I have spent time in Egypt and I learned henna art that is specifically Nubian and of North African style with many large floral designs. I also stayed in an Ashram and there I picked up mandala style designs and paisly art inspired by Indian Mehendi.
I create modern henna designs but I love to include traditional influences from India, Egypt, and Morocco.
Setup requirements
A warm environment, best if 65F or higher. Comfortable seating which i can provide if missing. Medium lighting.
