Overview

I am a violinist that was trained formally for about 14 years, the remaining years have been self development, experimentation, and under mentorship with various musicians with various styles. I have been doing weddings professionally for nearly 12 years as well as other type of performances. I am not limited to any particular style, reading and writing music or both skills I offer. I have done weddings, funerals, charity events, festival performances, tribute bands, many street performances. Genres: Classical, Celtic, Jazz, hip hop, Improv, Country, Blue Grass, Religious, spiritual, wedding, any style, and if I have not learned it I can fill in with any song in about 5 minutes.

Perfect backdrop to our event!

Preston is always a perfect fit, no matter the event. He's easy-going, yet professional, and works his music into the event seamlessly. We booked him for a library early literacy event, and he played familiar children's tunes with his own style blended in, along with using a looper to create dynamic pieces. Exactly What We Needed

Preston joined us for the second time at the library for our Big Covington Playdate. Geared towards preschoolers and their families, Preston created a wonderful backdrop to the event. Music was fun, engaging, and fit perfectly with our event. We'll have him back as many years as we can!

What to expect

The audience can expect an engaging beautiful display of the potential of the violin and the use of electronics to amplify and bring out the most. For my original pieces, these are used if the audience displays that they are open to something fun and engaging. For my contemporary and classical performances I work hard and reproducing the inflection and emotional of the composer(s).

In all performances I blend my style and appearance to add to the ambiance of the venue or environment. Fr yoga meditation, waltzing, to freeform expression. The art of music and the gift thereof is honored!

When it comes to teaching, that even provides a whole other realm of life long musical experience and growth!

About

I am a creative musician that can adjust to any environment, I have a passion for music and art. Event planners can expect prompt appointments, ultimate attention to detail, I am an easy going person, the events I partcipate in are no "my" events, so I keep any potential suggestions to myself unless asked. I am 2 years of age, I have been playing music since I was 5, classically trained. After reaching the achievements of performing at Carnegie Hall, St. Martins In the Fields I decided to explore the world of music. Currentyl, I have been providing a unique experience with amplified music through the violin which gives me a wide range of styles including modern, and original songs and sounds.
