P.OV.IC is a young , exciting and enlighting Hip Hop/ Neo Soul group based in Raleigh , NC. Rasta B. and Adoria B , are the artist and founders. Rasta B. has been creating , recording and releasing music since the young age of 13. Adoria B. formed her amazing vocal skills through gospel training at her local church , and perfected the craft of spoken word by the age of 15. Although they have always considered each other family , and support each other on their own endevors the group did not form until the summer of 2011. The rawness and creative flows of Rasta B. layered comfortably over Adoria B.'s soulfully perfected vocals produces a viscous combination of strong principals , glorious motives , and rebel style action. They have created a large buzz in there home town and beyond, by releasing music recorded at a self built home studio. The chemistry between these artist is undeniable , and quite enjoyable by their audiences. Their ability to incorporate theatric qualities , traditional , non traditional instruments and spoken word elements into their performances makes even the longest sets feel too short. Did i mention their also the faces and leaders of a world changing movement ? POVICNATION. A movement that uses principles of peace love and music to motivate their generation to create their own nation inside this world. A belief that all people are connected , and we have to do good not just for us, but for everyone in our nation. They use their music to spread these ways of life to every corner of the map.
