January 17, 2016Portside Groove Band was wonderful! They were worth every cent and they were prompt and fun to work with. Athena and Rhad were so nice and they helped us handle our event beautifully. They had a terrific mix of music and provided tunes during their break to keep things lively. We will hire them again in the future if and when there is a wedding.

With a great repetoire of music, PortSide Groove is sure to have music to please all ages. Strong female lead vocals with very talented musicians round out this smooth sounding band. We play a variety of hit music from the 60s to today. Lead vocalist, Athena Davis' powerful vocals will stay will you long after the performance is over.
Portside Groove is an energetic professional 6 piece function / cover band serving up pop dance hits from yesterday to today. If you’re looking for a vibrant and exciting twist for your event, Portside Groove will prove to be just that! Look no further! PortSide Groove is sure to keep you moving all night long!
Our band has several key features. We provide lighting as well as offer the ability to have a combination DJ service. DJ Rhad is the keyboardist in the band and can provide DJ music between sets, for dinner/cocktail hour and can mix in a set of dance music during the reception if desired.
We also can provide solo/duet/trio services for settings of a more intimate scale.
The biggest is power and shelter! We run a lot of current and a single outlet will not suffice. We need access to 2 separate outlets on different breakers to insure we don't lose power.
Shelter of some natural will be required for all outdoor shows. This is most commonly in the form on a tent.
