Drawing faces is one of my all-time favorite things to do. After years of drawing commissions at events and comic conventions, I've realized I would like to do more. Monica Gallagher is a writer and illustrator who's been creating art professionally for over 20 years. She has worked for several known comics publishers, as well as self-published her own mini-comics and books. Before moving to full-time freelance, Monica worked for 15 years as a graphic and web designer for a government contractor. After years of working in comics and illustration part time, she landed a gig that enabled her to do comics full time. Since then, she's taken on a variety of jobs within her skillset, including writing scripts, adapting novels into comic books, and creating design and illustration products for clients, but she's always on the hunt for her next project adventure. She resides in Austin with her husband, two cats, three step-daughters, and can’t get enough cryptids in her life.
I can bring my own table, chair, and easel
Will need lighting in order to draw (unfortunately can't do that very well in the dark!), but it doesn't have to be overly bright
Will bring my own tools - pens, paper, erasers, etc.
