Overview

I've been a professional entertainer / singer / songwriter for over 60 years, performing Classic Country, Southern Rock, Rock from the 50's to the 2000's. My backing tracks are 90% self created and minimal Karaoke (used only where a specific style is needed)

I perform for party's, corporate events, night clubs and social events. I provide my own sound system and am my own emcee.

Using my service can save anyone looking for entertainment, considerable money versus hiring a band. I provide anything musically that any band can provide and for less money.

What to expect

Anyone that comes to see me can expect to hear the very best that I am able to produce. I am not a showman. I don't dance and run around a stage or do crazy things that get attention but cover up the music.

I do go out into the audience when I sing, and pay special attention to those that seem to be enjoying the atmosphere created by the music. Sometimes I do what I call "Schmooze Up" to the ladies in the audience, but never with anything but fun intended. I don't use foul language in my act.

I don't stick to just one style of music. One song might be country, and the next one might be a Lynyrd Skynyrd song, and the next might be a Kenny Rogers song. It's really a case of seeing what the audience wants.

I'm "Self Contained". By that I mean that I only need one electric outlet near me, and I have everything else to perform with. My PA system will cover a fairly large audience and area with no problem, but I rely on the audience to tell me to turn up or down the volume level when I perform.

If you like to hear music, regardless of the type, done professionally, then do yourself a favor and see me perform.

About

My roots have always been in Country music and I started playing in country bands at age 13 in my local area of Central New York.

Through the years, I spent my time as a bass man and moved in and out of Country, Rock n Roll, Blues and yes, even some Jazz and "Old Standards". Now, I've been spending my time creating background music for me to perform my solo act.

It didn't start out easy, and I've had to put in countless hours of programming my backing tracks and actually had to learn how to be "alone" on a stage. It's a whole new and different feeling, but now it's comfortable.

I enjoy what I'm doing, and have found that many people are starting to pay attention and are liking what they hear. That's been rewarding and makes me try to work a bit harder to please them.
