🎅 Meet Santa!

With a twinkle in his eye, a warm heart, and a lifelong love of seeing children smile, Santa is ready to bring a little extra Christmas magic wherever he goes!

My love of working with children began many years ago when my son was younger, and I had the pleasure of being a Cub Leader for his group. Those years gave me countless wonderful memories and taught me just how special it is to encourage young people, share adventures, and watch them discover the world around them.

Family continues to be a very important part of my life. I’m fortunate to share my home with my daughter, her husband, and my wonderful three-year-old granddaughter. Seeing the world through her eyes reminds me every day that there is magic and excitement in even the simplest things. Sharing her joy, laughter, and sense of wonder is one of my greatest joys—and it’s something I bring with me every time I put on the red suit.

For several years, I was also involved with the Sunshine Foundation of Canada, an organization dedicated to changing the lives of young people living with severe physical disabilities across Canada. Being part of an organization that helps make children’s dreams come true was incredibly rewarding and reinforced something I have always believed: sometimes, bringing a little happiness into someone’s life can create a truly lasting memory.

So, how did I become Santa? Well… apparently, I had the look! Over the years, many people told me that I looked like Santa and thought I would make a wonderful professional Santa Claus. After hearing it enough times, I decided there was only one thing to do—grow the beard, put on the red suit, and answer the call from the North Pole!

And I’m so glad I did.

My favourite part of being Santa is seeing the joy on a child’s face. Whether it’s the excitement of meeting Santa for the first time, a whispered Christmas wish, a big smile, or that wonderful moment when a child realizes that Santa really is there—the magic is absolutely priceless.

For me, being Santa isn’t just about wearing the suit. It’s about creating happy memories, sharing laughter, listening to Christmas wishes, and helping children experience a little bit of that wonderful Christmas magic.

So, if you hear a hearty “Ho, ho, ho!” and see a big smile beneath a snowy white beard, come on over and say hello!
