What to expect

Point Performing Arts will work with the client, to combine their ideas, to make a great performance. Depending on the size of the stage or flooring, will tell us how many dancers and what style of dance we can perform. Just let us know what you want and give us enough time to do the choreography. We have performed at Ozark Fair Grounds, Paul Mitchell Show, 417 Fashionation and many more. Point does do competitions and that can block out some of the dates. Thank you for your interest in Point Performing Arts.

About

Trai started dancing at the age of two. She grew up in the Houston, Texas area, where she trained under Steven Boyd. She loves competitive dance! She has danced in hundreds of competitions, winning numerous high point awards, titles, and scholarships.

In addition to dancing Trai loves acting! She was a principal in several commercials and was in several movies before the age of ten. Her first professional play was in a Houston, TX show, Sabrina Fair. She also performed in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and was one of the leads in the original Galveston! The Musical. Trai decided to move to New York where she assisted the legendary Frank Hatchett in his dance classes at Broadway Dance Center: workshops, numerous master classes! She appeared in an off-off Broadway original, Thin Line. From there, she moved to Los Angeles where she performed at the Kodak theatre with Latin singer, Noelia and danced for Universal Studios Theme Park. She was also in the musicals Aida, Music Man, A Chorus Line, “R” StreetMusical, and Beauty and the Beast. In addition to her Dancing, teaching and acting, Trai also has been a judge for numerous dance competitions, including Rainbow Dance Connections, for three years.
She is proficient in ballet, jazz, lyrical, pointe, tap, musical theatre, hip hop, modern, Dunham, clogging, flamenco, and African. Her teaching experience is with 2 year olds, to adults, in ballet/pointe/jazz/lyrical/musical theatre/tap and tumble!
