Plays for the song, stays in the pocket

I'm open to all kinds of bands and different styles of music. I can write my own parts as well as take direction on them. I like time signature changes, dynamic playing, and tempo changes also. I should mention that I don't use a double bass pedal, but I can incorporate that type of bass drum work into one foot mostly, like Bonham style. I do drum solos, but I don't like veering too far away from the song so I stay in tempo.
I will always cater to the song whether original or cover, and I will always keep an open mind when it comes to music.
