Bring the distinctive sound of the Great Highland Bagpipes to your wedding, memorial service, celebration, corporate event, or special ceremony. I perform in full Highland dress and work with each client to select music that fits the tone of their event.
I have performed for clients throughout Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and Tennessee, providing traditional Scottish music for weddings, memorials, patriotic ceremonies, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations.

June 8, 2026Piper Wilkins Wows Crowd at the National Black Bear Fest!
Piper Wilkins could not have been nicer, our easier to work with. He was very professional and everyone loved him. He played at 5 different venues within the National Black Bear Festival with the last performance being alone on a platform floating in the river in front of thousands of people with 6 fireworks barges shooting off fireworks behind him. Epic!

Piper Wilkins was a wonderful addition to our celebration of life service. He responded quickly to all communications beforehand in a professional and sincere manner. He arrived early on the day of the service (two-hour drive to our location!), and his appearance and performance were outstanding. Afterwards, he stayed for lunch and conversed in a very friendly manner with the attendees. I've had many comments from friends and family in attendance about how happy they were with the bagpipes during the service and their interaction with Piper Wilkins. Highly recommend!!

About
I first fell in love with bagpipes as a young child attending Highland Games and Celtic Festivals. I have been playing bagpipes for over 10 years now. I started playing with local pipe bands and have competed both as a band member and as a soloist up and down the East Coast and overseas in Scotland. In this time I have performed many funerals, memorials, church services, birthday parties, conventions, retirements, Burns Supper, celebrations, and many a St. Patrick's day affair. I have even played as an alarm clock to a sleeping Batchelor after his night of revelry.
I look forward to making your event special with my love of this instrument and its music.
Additional booking notes
A small private area for tuning and warm-up before the performance is appreciated. For events requiring a wardrobe change, access to a private changing area is helpful but not required. Any venue-specific requirements or logistical considerations can be discussed in advance to ensure a smooth and successful performance.
