As an attendee of my performance, you'll be treated to a musical journey finely tuned to suit your event's needs. If you want to start with some ambient background music and later transition into sing-a-longs with guests, this is where I shine. Need someone to play that song that only you and your loved ones know? I'll learn it in advance of the event and play it during your event. With an expansive repertoire that spans every genre, decade, and vibe, I am here to make your event enjoyable and the behind-the-scenes logistics a breeze. I strive to make your event truly catered to your musical needs and tastes.

✅ Performance Duration: For most events, expect uninterrupted music with short breaks, usually only after every 90 minutes or so of playing (note that most musicians play 45 minutes and then take a 15-minute break). I normally do not follow that "standard," and this ensures that your event remains lively and melodious, giving you more live music playing time during your event. When on a short break, I am happy to play pre-recorded music so you have wall-to-wall music during your event.

✅ Communication: I prioritize seamless communication, both before and after your event. I can be reached at any time in any way you like. Whether you prefer text, email, or calls, I adapt to your preferences, ensuring clarity and prompt responses.

✅ Flexibility: Day-of adjustments? No problem. I pride myself on being adaptable catering to on-the-spot changes or special requests. Thus ensuring the event's flow remains undisturbed. I happily "go with the flow."

🎹 Instrument & Sound:
If you're providing a piano at your venue, please let me know in advance. I am also happy to bring my keyboard and any necessary amplification equipment, but we will need to confirm these details in advance of your event. When singing is involved, I come equipped with a microphone, a stand, and any other requisite gear. I sometimes bring a foot instrument called a "Wazinator." This provides a very cool kick bass drum sound in addition to piano for an even more dynamic presentation.

🎹 Space & Power:
My normal setup requires minimal space and electrical consumption. A couple of nearby electrical outlets suffice for powering my equipment. If I'm using my own keyboard and sound amplification and performing solo, I normally take up little space.

🎹 Parking:
Kindly brief me on the parking situation for your venue to ensure smooth equipment transport and setup prior to your event. Depending on parking requirements, the client may have to cover parking expenses.

🎹 Outdoor Events:
For open-air events, I'll need specifics about weather contingency plans. My equipment and I should ideally be sheltered from direct sunlight and any form of precipitation. My equipment can not get wet. If heat lamps are part of your arrangement, allocating one near my setup would be beneficial, depending on the time of year.

🎹 Coordination with Other Entertainers:
In cases where other bands or DJs are involved, I'd appreciate the opportunity to liaise with them pre-event. This coordination ensures a seamless transition and an optimal musical experience for your guests. After receiving their contact details, I'll initiate this dialogue on your behalf if you would like. There are times when it will be more convenient and appropriate for me to amplify my sound through the DJ's sound system. This is a very common situation for both musicians and DJs. But it is always good to coordinate before the event.

🎹 Venue Communication:
If you provide me with your contact person's contact information, if you'd like, I am happy to be proactive about reaching out to your event venue prior to the event. This includes discussing load-in/load-out logistics and any aforementioned requirements to make sure we are all coordinated and "on the same page" regarding the requirements of your event.

While Gig Salad is my preferred platform for booking and payments, I also offer direct options to cater to your convenience. They include credit card payments, electronic payments via Zelle or Venmo, and company invoicing.
