Artistic Bio
Described as “a phenomenal pianist” by Maestro Gerard Schwarz and “a very talented pianist” by legendary pianist Santiago Rodriguez, Dr. Tingting Wu is a vivid, appealing, and innovative pianist. She offers a unique insight into how classical music concerts can become more accessible and understandable for the general audience by combining colored lighting with music to reflect its emotional and harmonic changes through live performances. Based on this ideology, she founded the project ColorMusic which performs on a monthly basis in Brickell, Miami from Oct. 2024.
Dr. Wu is the solo pianist who performed all the piano parts for the PBS Musical TV Production “Pictures at an Exhibition”. The production aired on South Florida PBS TV channels in November 2023, and it will also be aired by more than 220 PBS TV Channels, including New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Las Vegas, Washington DC, and Houston, among many more cities from (phone number hidden)6.
Miami Chinese TV Channel also invited her to perform as the solo pianist at their 2024 Chinese Dragon Year Gala Concert, witnessed by more than a thousand live audience.
