July 20, 2025Our experience with Photos by Orion was great! Leading up to our wedding day they communicated their needs in a timely way, and they took in the needs of our individual event and made our hour-and-a-half long family-photo experience as seamless as possible.
Our combined families made for a lot of groups of relatives like our parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. to account for. The week before our wedding, we sent them a spreadsheet of all the photos we wanted taken and who was in those photos. We did this mostly so they'd have an idea of how many people we needed to capture, and how fast a pace we were expecting during the time we had booked them. They absolutely delivered.
They arrived early with two photographers, an unexpected delight! They got great shots of our walk-on and our ceremony from two different angles.
Then, they handled our family photos with aplomb! One photographer shot while another wrangled a wide range of people (including a toddler and two dogs) into giving their best smiles. They went by the spreadsheet and didn't deviate unless they had our explicit approval, which was wonderful. They ran that shooting session like the navy, which was fantastic.
After that wrapped up, they ushered us into the orchard part of our venue and had just us two take some newly-wed shots which were unexpected but very sweet.
A few weeks later they sent over 200 curated, lightly edited photos for us to choose from for printing, and a little over 180 photos mastered for online posting. We will absolutely be recommending them to family, friends, and beyond.

Kathryn is the business manager and works both with and without a planner. For event planners, Kathryn with work with you to follow a timeline or help create one. We always try to respond to inquiries and communications within 1 business day so you will always be able to get a response quickly.
We have a mobile studio that we can bring almost anywhere with electricity. 2 electrical outlets are needed minimum for an indoor mobile studio.

Sue Bryce and my own personal experiences with photography have influenced why I do business the way I do.
