Phases of Autumn
Overview
My name is Autumn and I am fire and glow baton twirler/ fire performer. I feature fire batons, fire fans, fire swords, and fire torches—each carefully choreographed to fit your event. For venues that require a non-fire option, glow LED baton performances provide a dazzling alternative. Each performance is custom-themed to match your event, with curated music and costuming to enhance the atmosphere—whether it’s an elegant gala, a lively festival, a corporate event, a birthday party, or a private celebration. Safety is always a priority, and every fire performance is executed with professional fire safety protocols in place.

What to expect
A 2-4minute choreographed performance consisting of 1 and 2 fire batons, fire fans, fire swords, and fire torch; with more of a focus on fire props and fire spinning than intense dance routines. You can also expect fire batons being tossed high in the air if the venue is safe enough for that. If the client chooses the non-fire option of glow batons, the client can expect the twirling of 1, 2, and 3 glow batons. This option allows me to do more baton twirling skills and tricks such as high tosses and juggling of 3 batons.
About
Performing has always been a passion of mine. When I was just 3 years old, I started baton twirling and loved every second of it. I started competing when I was 4 and retired from competing at the age of 21. I competed at State, Regional, National, and International levels and have won many of those titles. Throughout those years, I have had the opportunity to not only compete, but perform countless shows across multiple states. I have performed at Mardi Gras Balls, Mardi Gras Parades, Christmas shows, Christmas Parades, Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Parades 3 times, Walt Disney World EPCOT Parade, Universal Orlando City Walk stage shows 6 times, and many other venues. I learned fire baton when I was only 13 years old and started incorporating it in my routines when I was a marjorette in high school on the field. After I stopped competing, I taught children baton twirling classes for 3 years and started my business, Affinity Twirling Co LLC. After I decided to quit teaching, I knew that I wasn’t done performing and I still had a passion to be entertaining. That’s when I used my business to start promoting myself and booking shows locally. I personally know amazing belly dancers that have let me perform in their fire shows, which led me to reach out to other local events for booking opportunities. I have performed in 3 fire belly dancing shows on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and I have also performed at a local Renaissance Festival in Hattiesburg, MS. I also decided to expand my choices of fire props and started to incorporate fire torch, fire fans, and fire swords into my routines. I am also fire safety certified through Flow Arts Institute. Safety is my number 1 concern with every performance and I always have a fire safety with me at my performances to make sure everything runs smoothly. All of my routines are themed to your event and I always take the time to communicate with the event coordinator. I hope I can be the entertainer for your event and I’m very excited to start booking with you!
Additional booking notes
If the client chooses fire props for their event, here are some requirements that will allow the performance to be safe.
The surface I am on cannot be flammable such as carpet. If the surface is wood, the client must keep in mind that if any fire props are dropped during the performance (it happens) it is possible the fire prop can leave a mark. There must be a clearing above me. Which means I cannot have any limbs or trees above me as well as any curtains or drapery. My performance space must be at least 6 feet away from the audience in all directions. If the event is indoors, the building must have proper ventilation and there must be communication with the owner of the building to make sure everyone is on the same page on safety protocols.
For music, if the event already has a sound system to play music on, I can either connect my phone to the system or send music files to whoever will be in charge of playing music. If the event does not have a sound system, I have a portable speaker that I can bring but I must have an extension cord to use it.
